“TASTE AND SEE”

Psalm 34:8 says, “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good.” Just as we encourage our children to try new foods before deciding if they like them, God invites us to experience His goodness firsthand. The start of a new school year often brings excitement, but also nerves, new routines, and busy schedules. In these moments, we have the perfect opportunity to “taste and see” God’s goodness. When we pray together as a family, ask God for wisdom in decisions, or thank Him for small blessings like a safe trip to school or a kind teacher, we are teaching our children to rely on Him daily.

As parents, let’s remind our children that God’s goodness isn’t just something we hear about at church it’s something we can experience every day at home, in the classroom, and even on the playground. When we start this school year leaning on God’s promises, we can walk with confidence, knowing He is with us in every new challenge and victory.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new school year. Help our children to see and experience Your goodness in their classrooms, friendships, and daily routines. Give them courage when they feel nervous, peace when they feel overwhelmed, and joy in learning new things. Bless us as parents to guide them with patience, love, and faith. May our family always “taste and see” Your goodness together. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

¡Algo para Meditar!

“PROBAD Y VED”

Sept
