December! Time for Holiday Tasting!
Confused on which wines to pick for the holidays? So many choices, so little time! The Vineyard will showcase wines from Sonoma California this weekend. This is the second holiday tasting of wines we will be showcasing for the holidays. We will be featuring a sparkling and a port wine each week now through December. This weeks tasting will be: White Night Prosecco, Italy: $14.99 Leese-Fitch Chardonnay, Sonoma: $11.99 Irony 'Black' Pinot Noir: $14.99 Leese-Fitch Merlot, Sonoma: $11.99 Leese-Fitch 'Firehouse' Red Blend, Sonoma: $11.99 Leese-Fitch Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma: $11.99 and a port or sherry! The wines of Leese-Fitch, are wines that celebrate the deep heritage of California embodied in the iconic Leese-Fitch Adobe built in the 1830s and still at home in the historic town of Sonoma, California today. This coming Wednesday, December 14 you will have the opportunity to test some of the worlds greatest know wine! Far Niente, EnRoute plus Nickel & Nickel! This tasting will give you a chance to try wines which sell for over $100 a bottle! A great 6-7 course wine dinner & tasting with Chef Justin Hayes of Kater-Werks and Far Niente representative Pat Templeton. Reservations are required and seating is limited to no more than thirty people. 6 courses along with appetizers. These wines are single vineyard and expensive and the food will be fantastic! The cost will be include a chance to win a 3 Liter bottle of Nickel & Nickel, a $500 value! The dinner, wine & chance to wine the 3 Liter will be $130 a person. The Vineyard loves to support all the branches of the armed forces. This Sunday (12-4-16) afternoon from 3 to 5, we will host a fund raiser for the Air Force personnel stationed at Ft. Gordon. No reservations needed & its a drop-in style like our Friday & Saturday tastings. This Air Force group will be selling the tasting tickets for $15 to raise funds for various projects they have throughout the year. They also will be selling raffle tickets for prizes, one of which will be the opportunity to pick out the Glock Handgun of your choice, a $450 value! Come by and support the troops!
