Private Land Forest Certification Program Forest Certification Program Today • First certified in 2002 (2,400 ha – 18 forest owners).

• Today approximately 80,000+ ha of private forests are certified including:

- 120 private woodlot owners; - 13 community forests; - 4 independent forest managers; - 1 commercial forest owner.
