Lindsey looked at the group of campers, smiling with pride. “Today is our last day together,” she said. “Let’s make it a day to remember!”

As they walked through the forest, Lindsey encouraged them to use their observation skills. “Look around, listen, and appreciate nature,” she said. The kids took in the sights and sounds, grateful for all they had learned.

The group played a final game, working together and cheering each other on.
“Teamwork
is something
you’ll
use every day,” Lindsey reminded them. “You’ve all become great teammates.”

At the campfire, Lindsey showed the kids one last time how to safely put out a fire.
“You’ve
all learned to be responsible,” she said. “These skills will help you stay safe wherever you go.”

The kids waved goodbye to the lake, remembering how to stay safe by the water. “Remember to use the buddy system and always stay safe,” Lindsey reminded them. The kids nodded, feeling confident in their water safety skills.

They sat in a circle by the meadow, and Lindsey asked, “What was your favorite memory from camp?” The kids shared stories of teamwork, friendship, and all the new things they had discovered together.

One by one, the kids took turns thanking each other. “You’ve all been amazing friends,” Lindsey said with a smile. “Supporting each other has made camp so special.”

Lindsey handed each camper a certificate.
“This is for everything
you’ve learned
and achieved,” she said proudly. The kids accepted their certificates, smiling with pride.

As they gathered around her, Lindsey said, “Remember, the things you learned here can help you wherever you go. Keep exploring, stay curious, and always work together.”

The kids packed their bags, saying goodbye to the cabins and the beautiful campgrounds. They took one last look around, filled with memories of all they had experienced.

The kids waved goodbye to Lindsey from the bus, their faces a mix of excitement and sadness. “We’ll miss you, Lindsey!” they called. Lindsey waved back, proud of each camper.

Think About:
1. What was your favorite memory from camp?
2. How can you use what you learned at Camp Brite Star at home?
3. What are some ways you can keep exploring and learning?
Let's Work Together: The end of camp doesn’t mean the end of learning. By taking these lessons home, we can keep growing and helping others wherever we go.
I Will: I will remember everything I learned at Camp Brite Star and use it to be a good friend, stay safe, and keep exploring the world around me.
The Importance of Knowing: Knowing how to take what we’ve learned into our everyday lives helps us stay connected to the lessons, friendships, and adventures that make life meaningful.
