Mia crossed her arms. “No one will listen to my ideas,” she muttered. “I’ll just do it myself.”

That evening, Mia wandered into the magical forest, hoping to find some peace. “Maybe I need a break,” she thought as the forest glowed around her.

In Critter Village, Mia saw Firefighter Fox directing a group of critters as they practiced putting out a small fire.
“Everyone ready? Work together!” he called out.

Firefighter Fox noticed Mia watching. “Hey there! Want to help us with our drill?” he asked. Mia hesitated, then nodded. “Okay,” she said shyly.

“Teamwork means listening to each other and sharing ideas,” Firefighter Fox said. “We all have different strengths, and that’s what makes a team great.”

Mia and the critters formed a bucket line, passing water from the creek to the fire. “This is faster than doing it alone,” Mia said, surprised.

When the fire was out, the critters cheered. “Great job, team!” Firefighter Fox said. Mia grinned. “That was fun— and we did it together!”

Firefighter Fox pointed to his team.
“Everyone here has a role. When we trust each other and work together, we can do amazing things.”

The next day at camp, Mia shared her ideas with her group. “Let’s try this,” she said, and her friends listened. Together, they built something amazing.

Mia and her group presented their project, proud of what they had accomplished together.
“Teamwork really does make a difference,” Mia said.

That night, Mia thought about how teamwork could help at home. “Maybe we can all work together on a family project,” she said with a smile.

Think About:
1. How did Firefighter Fox teach Mia about teamwork?
2. Why is it important to listen to others when working in a group?
3. How can teamwork make tasks easier and more fun?
Let's Work Together: By working together and respecting everyone’s ideas, we can accomplish more than we could alone.
I Will: I will practice teamwork by listening, sharing ideas, and helping others.
The Importance of Knowing: Knowing how to work as a team teaches us cooperation, builds stronger relationships, and helps us achieve amazing results.
