Brooke had always loved her dog, Chunk. They were best friends and did everything together. But one day, Brooke’s parents brought home a surprise—a new baby sister for Chunk!

The sisters gathered around as their parents introduced them to Piglet, a tiny, spotted Frenchie. "Isn't she adorable?" Ken exclaimed, while Whit and Sam giggled at the little puppy's wrinkly face.

The sisters spent the afternoon playing with Piglet and Chunk. Piglet was full of energy, hopping around and trying to keep up with Chunk. "Looks like they’re getting along already!" Whit laughed.

Lefty, the head pro, noticed Kelly's relentless dedication and started spending more time with her in the off hours.
"Why are you helping me, Lefty?" Kelly asked, surprised.
"I see great potential in you, Kelly," Lefty smiled.

While they were playing, Piglet stumbled and fell. Chunk quickly nudged Piglet up with his nose, and Brooke rushed over. "It's okay, Piglet," Brooke said. "You've got a big brother to look out for you now."

Later that evening, Brooke noticed Chunk looking a little confused. "Are you feeling a bit left out?" she asked, hugging Chunk. "I know it's new, but having a little sister means more love to share."

The next morning, Brooke found Chunk and Piglet snuggled up together in their dog bed. She smiled, realizing that Chunk was starting to understand that Piglet was part of the family now.

Brooke, Ken, Whit, and Sam spent the day playing in the yard with Chunk and Piglet. They laughed and cheered as Chunk showed Piglet how to chase a ball. "You’re a great big brother, Chunk," Brooke said proudly.

Brooke decided it was time to teach Piglet some tricks. With Chunk watching closely, Piglet learned to sit and roll over. "You’re learning so fast!" Brooke praised. "And Chunk is such a good teacher."

That evening, the whole family gathered around to watch Chunk and Piglet play together. "It's wonderful how they’ve bonded," Mom said. "Just like you girls," Dad added, smiling at the sisters

Brooke hugged Chunk and Piglet close. "Family is all about love and learning to share it," she said. "I’m so glad we have each other."

Think About:
1. How did Chunk feel about getting a new sister at first?
2. What did Brooke do to help Chunk understand that Piglet was part of the family?
3. How did Piglet learn from Chunk?
Let's Work Together: Just like Chunk learned to share his love with Piglet, we can all learn to welcome new friends and family members with open hearts.
I Will: I will remember to be kind and welcoming to others, just like how Chunk welcomed Piglet into the family.
The Importance of Knowing: Knowing how to share love and kindness with others helps build a stronger, happier family and community.
