Meanwhile,Mrs.Pasko’sAPResearchstudentshavebeen expandingontheskillstheydevelopedinAPSeminarlast yearto developtheirownuniqueresearch questions, many ofwhichfocusonsocialandcognitiveareas.Studentswill answertheresearchquestionsthroughoriginaldatacollection andanalysis.Forinstance,inJanuary,membersofthestudent bodymaybeinvitedtovolunteertorespondtoanonymous surveys,orparticipateininterviews,onavarietyoftopics.
Tohelpdeveloptheirresearchstudiesandexpandtheir bodyofknowledgeontheirselectedtopics,theAPResearch studentstraveledonSeptember27to RutgersUniversity’s AlexanderLibraryin NewBrunswick.A Rutgerslibrarian instructed thegroupontechniquesandtoolsnecessaryto searchinRUdatabasesandcollectusefularticlesandstudies.

eVarsitytennisteamreturnedthisseasonwithaveteran rosterof5seniorsand5juniors. AngelinaSantorelli’26 has playedatthenumber1spotfortheentiretyoftheseason, makingabigleapfromplayingseconddoubleslastyear. Her skillsand con dencecontinuetogrowinthisverychallenging top spot.CameronShull’26 defendedherpositionatsecond singlesandcontinuestoperformsolidlyatthisposition. Senior,KaitlynPavagadhi’25 returnedtoherpositionat3rd singleswhereshehasshownoutstandingmentalstrength battlingthroughhours-longmatches. Ourdoubles teamshave doneexceptionallywellthisseason.
