On Lombok’s north-west coast, bathed by the Bali Sea, Gili Meno, with its unique salty lake, offers two magnificent views: to the east, Gili air and Lombok’s Rinjani volcano (3726m) and to the west, Gili Trawangan and Bali’s Agung volcano (3142m).
Over the years, Gili Meno has developed gradually while keeping an intact local life and lush nature. It has also retained its tranquillity, with no cars or motorbikes. With its beautiful white sandy beaches, it’s also a must for admiring the green turtles, either by diving or simply with a mask and snorkel!
The welcoming local population, of Muslim faith, are known as “Sasak”, which is also the name of their dialect, but Indonesian remains the national language. The call to prayer is made 5 times a day from a beautiful wooden mosque in the centre of the island. Please adopt the right attitude and cover up (no bikinis) when walking around the village.
GILI MENO IS A SMALL ISLAND
➜ From time to time, there may be power cuts of a few minutes to a few hours throughout the island.
➜ Please use water responsibly & turn off lights and air conditioning when you leave.
➜ There is no malaria in the Gili Islands, but it is advisable to protect yourself, especially at sunrise and sunset.
➜ Beware, prices may be higher than in Bali due to transport, as everything is imported.

Where
are we?
We are situated in the centre of the Gili Meno island. You can come to the Villa from the Harbor by walking, it will take you 15 min, or by taking a Horse car called “Cidomo” that will wait you at the harbor, recommended if you have big luggage. It will take 5 min and price is between 125/150k.
