Araw-Araw believes that local is best it supports our local farmers by using 100% homegrown beans through direct-trade.
Logo Concept
A logo is extremely important for any food brand because it will appear on the packaging, posters and social media. Araw-araw emphasizes the bean to cup concept. To design the visual image of the coffee being part of our daily lives, I adapted the well-known shape of the bean and incorporate it with the word arawaraw.

PACKAGING
Inspired by the Filipino Legend of the Coconut, (Alamat ng Niyog) as this story is a symbol of love, hope and generosity. A mother of ten children passes away and her death sprouted a tall and fruitful coconut tree which then fed and gave livelihood to her children.
Choco cashew spread packaging was also inspired by (Alamat ng Chocolate Hills) It is a story about the battle of two giants came into the land of Bohol. Balls of mud were thrown back and forth, eventually turned into chocolate hills.
We honour these stories just as we honour our local produce, cuisine and traditions. We want to tell a story through our brand and promote a sense of national pride, removing the idea that imported products are always better, removing the colonial mentality altogether.
Alamat Spreads start with fresh, natural and locally sourced ingredients. We have carefully crafted our products using only the best Filipino flavours and produce, focusing on delivering excellence through consistency in quality.
