Only the Brave, East Anglian Air Ambulance’s obstacle course challenge event, is back for the second year, taking place at the Elveden Estate near Thetford on 1 and 2 April 2017 to raise money for their life-saving charity. There will be six races in total over the weekend with three each day. People can enter individually or as part of a team and they can choose between a 5 or 10 mile mud run with over 40 obstacles; running, crawling, climbing, and scrambling to the finish line. And this year, it’s bigger, better, and muddier than ever before! East Anglian Air Ambulance needs to raise over £11m this year to keep its helicopters in the sky and Only is the Brave is one way to help achieve this. Norwich City FC legend Darren Huckerby has officially opened Long Stratton Leisure Centre’s new artificial grass pitch, with Canaries’ defender Russell Martin also backing the project. The state-of-the-art facility will be used extensively by the local community, with Long Stratton High School and Long Stratton FC delivering sessions to grow and develop local football. It includes three 5-a-side pitches and will host a weekly 9-a-side competition. The pitch is the first step in

Darren Huckerby, who lives locally and now works at Norwich City FC as their Under-16s coach, said: “What a brilliant new pitch this is! THE SOUND OF NATURE An art group is launching a new project to make music and connect with nature. Sensing Nature, a new initiative by Waveney and Blyth Arts, will explore the nature of sound and sound in nature, and will lead to bespoke outdoor musical performances in 2017. Working with the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind and a group of professional musicians, the group will partner with locally-based visually impaired singers and musicians to inspire people to become sound-aware.
Jan Dungey, co-project manager, said: “Local animals, birds, insects and other creatures make the most extraordinary sounds – from barking foxes, to melodic nightingales, to chirping crickets.” The resultant sound trail, comprising instrumental and vocal performances, will be performed to the public at Thornham Walks, a beautiful area of woodland near Eye, in June 2017. expert predicts what will be selling fast in the auction room this year. 2016 was a very dynamic year for the auction market: activity was frenetic, interest in buying and selling was strong, prices for certain specialisms were seen to rally. So, what can we expect for 2017 and where should our attention turn if we want to follow a winning trend? Last year saw a steady return to favour of a variety of classic auction room favourites, with competition between bidders pushing values up. Whilst fashions change very quickly in the modern consumer-led world, I see no reason why these current contenders should not shine throughout 2017 as well: 1. Local photograph postcards, especially those privately executed and produced – the rarer the image subject, e.g. floods, fires, early transport, shops and services, advertising or views now lost, the more successful the card 2. Period oak – a long-overdue return to an appreciation of England’s finest wood 3. Vintage and classic cars – this market has returned to the fast lane after dawdling, some would say almost on the hard shoulder, for a few years 4. Good quality 20th century studio pottery – especially by British potters, who have somewhat stolen the crown from Scandinavian producers in recent months
5. Local art – the distinctive East Anglian art tradition extends over many centuries and is alive and well today; collectors tend d to be very loyal and this continues as an area for both appreciation and investment 6. Musical instruments, classic and evocative of their time – e.g. 18th and 19th century violins and 1950s/60s electric guitars, especially Fenders and Gibsons: genetic “all-so-ran” examples are not faring so well 7. Ercol furniture – interestingly it is currently the light elm colour and not the dark mahogany shades which are finding favour: this has been a complete reversal in taste in just a few months 8. Vintage and retro music systems, especially by Bang & Olufsen – sparked by the well-publicised surge in vinyl revival 9. Craftsman’s tools from bygone eras – these have never really been out of favour, but nonetheless, there has been a hearty appetite for these throughout 2016 and prices have continued to rise; I see no reason why this should abate 10. Ladies Who Lunch THE BOARS

One of my favourite up-market eateries, The Boars, has recently changed hands, and I was interested to see what changes have been made. I have eaten there half a dozen times in the past and always enjoyed the food and the company.
W
e were shown to our reserved table by a Nice Young Man, and were handed a newspaper-style menu each; there were also specials on a blackboard which caught my eye.
While we perused the options, I started on my cool draft Adnams Southwold ale, and my companion drank her San Perito. The menu included pork, beef, duck, bream, smoked mackerel and two vegetarian options. I liked the idea of the red onion tart with goats’cheese and leeks, and my friend asked for the smoked mackerel. Nice Young Man brought our food after about 25 minutes which gave us time to study the other pages of the menu. There is a Little Piglets section with two courses for a reasonable £7, and a Sunday menu showing the roasts – sirloin of beef, chicken, loin of pork, and a nut roast – all at £12 or £13. Interestingly, the Christmas special three course lunch with a free glass of wine was only £29, so roll on next December! I discovered my buttered leeks hiding under the onion tart that was surrounded by red pepper pesto, the beetroot and the pomegranate seeds added a sweet and bright red touch to the meal which was generously proportioned and extremely

tasty. By this time, my friend had all but finished her smoked mackerel and was waiting for Nice Young Man to bring her a spoon to finish up the sauce. Cubes of garlic potato and fennel and chicory surrounded her generous portion of fish. Both dishes had pea shoots scattered over them giving a light-hearted touch with their curly tendrils. For pudding I had spotted an orange and Cointreau panna cotta with cranberry ice cream. It came with cranberries sprinkled over it and was delicious, and not too sickly sweet. A generous size serving at a reasonable price. My friend chose star anise and red wine poached pear with orange sponge and vintage orange marmalade which she pronounced perfect, especially the orange sponge. A couple of espressos finished the meal off beautifully, and they were hot and strong, and
came with a lovely freshly baked Christmassy biscuit each. I really enjoyed this meal, and the place is warm and very friendly. If you want peace and quiet away from the food, there is a dog-friendly snug with a log fire. For followers of the gin craze, there are 12 different gins on the menu, and the same number of whiskies.

Standing up for sitting down Charity Anchor is ‘Standing Up 4 Sitting Down’ as it calls on shops to do their bit to reduce older people’s loneliness and health issues by providing seating. A recent report found that older people are unable to engage in cultural and social activities, such as visiting shops, cafes, restaurants and theatres, as much as they would like to due to a lack of places to rest. As well as impacting economic growth, Anchor’s campaign highlights the link between poor accessibility and a lack of seating to loneliness and the related health problems it causes.

Anchor resident Nona Hall, 93, from Attleborough, Norfollk said: “Being independent is so important to me. The first ever UK tour of Mamma Mia! arrives in Norwich for a four-week stay from February 28 to March 25, bringing this much-loved sunny and funny tale of family and friendship, and Abba’s iconic and timeless music, to a Theatre Royal audience.
M
amma Mia! is producer Judy Craymer’s ingenious vision of staging the storytelling magic of the songs of 1970s/80s supertroopers Abba. Set on a Greek island paradise, writer Catherine Johnson’s storyline features a daughter setting out on the eve of her wedding to discover the identity of her father and in doing so, she brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.
Enthralling theatre audiences since 1999, it has now been seen by more than 60 million people around the world, with the London production alone being seen by the equivalent of 10% of the entire UK population. To date, there have been some 50 productions of the show in 16 different languages, while the 2008 film Mamma Mia! The Movie – which starred Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan – is the highest grossing liveaction musical film of all time. In 2011, it became the first Western musical ever to be staged in Mandarin in the People’s Republic
of China, while more recent conquests have also included a vast cruise ship which tours the Caribbean with a Mamma Mia! that can be seen by 1000 seafarers. For Norwich theatre-goers, Judy Craymer promises a show with a big heart. “People love it so they return. In the audience sometimes one member will turn to the other and say ‘Is this your first time?’ It’s like ‘welcome to the club’. It’s also a show that people like to see in a community atmosphere. They like to bring friends and family,” she said. The star of the show is undoubtedly the fantastic catalogue of Abba songs, but its cleverly-crafted emotional story of love, friendship and identity also strikes a chord with those who see it, casting a magical spell thanks to characters that everyone can empathise with and a storyline that tugs at the heart-strings. Plus there is the chance to say ‘Thank You For The Music’ when audience members get to their feet to dance to Waterloo and Dancing Queen, sung by Donna and the Dynamos in wonderful Seventies spandex outfits in the show’s finale. Village wanderings Geldeston and Beccles
The River Waveney divides this walk of two counties: Suffolk and Norfolk. Starting in the Suffolk market town of Beccles and following the Angles Way, the route crosses the river into Norfolk at the historic Locks Inn, Geldeston. Continuing through the village, a riverside walk on the north of the river then leads you back to Beccles. Distance: approximately 7.2 miles. Using OS Explorer Map OL40. Start: grid ref: TM 423912, sat nav: NR34 9BH.
3 The round-towered medieval church of St Michael is Geldeston’s earliest surviving building. The village once had three pubs and a brewery: the Locks and the Wherry Inn still survive, but the Garden House retains only its name. This meandering wall looks as though its builder might have been ‘under the influence’!

2 The Locks Inn is said to have been built in the 1560s, first as a mill-keeper’s cottage, later being used by lock keepers. Wherries and other craft hauled goods from the seaports through the lock (one of four) to Bungay. It was granted a public license in the 17th century at a time when its marshy remoteness was a haven for cross border smuggling. Now a freehouse but still without mains supplies, the pub is frequented by more law-abiding walkers and boaters.
The Waveney valley provides ideal habitat for the ‘ghost’ or barn owl. This barn owl box was one of three spotted en route.
Walked on a bright January day with fieldfares and redwings ‘talking’ of long journeys from the north. The marshes were partly flooded, tempting ‘darts’ of teal with their wild, high-pitched whistling calls. As a result of this mild winter, premature signs of spring were seen in the flowering of dead nettles and violets.

FEATURED ARTISTS – DAVIDE LAKSHMANASAMY www.davidelart.com This Italian-born, Singapore-raised, Norwichnurtured young artist talks of process as a means for discovery and understanding. Studying structure via deconstruction, fabrication and identity within his production makes for a sizeable learning experience. Davide’s perception of the theme ‘Beauty and Decay’ features amongst other subjects in the foundations of his making. With this, the idea of ‘the beautiful’ and ‘the ugly’ are conjoined, transmitting a more pleasurable impression to the spectator. Language within art is essential when we attempt translation. Here, we see a conversation between diverse materials working with and against one another, ultimately learning to master unfamiliar qualities assigned by the artist. This dialogue constructs the illusion that the materials share dominance throughout their durational existence, not dissimilar to the rules of turn taking in speech. Much of what we portray as artists can be assigned a formula composed through experience with particular things during our childhoods. A raw connection between Davide’s infancy and professional practice surfaced. Imagery of scaffolding, skyscrapers and a small boy assembled this tactile, deconstructive practice,

Norwich Contemporaries dismantling and fragmenting in order to rebuild a far more accessible and interactive playground. November 2016 saw Davide in residency alongside sound artist Bene Pooley, located at Dove Street Studios, hosted by Norwich Arts platform Dyad Creative. Suspended high above the audience, the work formed immense shadows that drenched the room; fitting, as the piece was originally mounted on the water for the Waveney River Trail. As the light and sound penetrated the weighty waves of metal, the experiential ensemble seemed to force and indent the negative space around the sculpture. The bassy soundtrack of machinery in use lay heavy on me as I stood watching the tremendous form in very slight motion. I envisioned looking up in my innocence, to the madness of the world moving around me, voiceless and uninformed. Occupying vast physical space, Davide aims to

instigate reactions in viewers while they observe the piece reacting to its new self. Extracting the typically grotesque from our surroundings, he forges a new ordinary, redefining the beautiful, which is attained through trial and error; through experience. It is a practice founded on playfulness and satisfaction with collaborative experience at the heart of his intentions. This is the justification of his freedom to make. Painting is a very traditional means of preserving a moment in time. Generation after generation have been inspired to pursue this creative art of skill and technique, encouraging contemporaries like Emma Cracknell to take on the conventional gallery’s white cube, employing this very immersive medium. Exposing solitary instances through the application of colour, her practice aspires to provide a place within each piece for the onlooker to speculate, but most notably, to think. Capturing a specific point, instance, occurrence, colour, or even transitory feeling, is not dissimilar to the style of highly acclaimed artist Mark Rothko. Emma sheds clarity on the difference between a photograph and a painting; how many people can feature in a piece, and how even more people can be looking at said piece,
but that no one person will ever possess the same perception; no one instant is entirely shared. It is this perception and found place within the everyday that fuels her drive towards making. Studying for her Honours and Masters degrees at Norwich University of the Arts, which she refers to as ‘the creative island of free thinking’, Emma identified themes within her practice regarding the denial of visual information and the desire to acquire said material. This examination led to the execution of an artwork coined her final and most conclusive piece to date; the painting made for her Masters Show. It was a representation of the drive that pulled her through education, the state of euphoria gained through acquired conceptual weight, but predominantly, it was a celebration of passion. She tells me how painting is as much an asset as a personality is. How that when she paints she is arrested by this nonphysical place, buried in pleasure. The visual aspects of Emma’s practice have transposed through her artistic career from oils in a heavy Prussian Blue balanced with Payne’s Grey, through to Titanium White and Cadmium Red. These pigments have been selected to portray a very honest, definite conceptual affair. The desire to paint, ability to make beautiful, and to craft a simplified edition of a complex matter, has made for a highly determined work ethic, making Emma Cracknell one to watch. uisine Queen and prolific cookery book writer, Mary Berry, is no stranger to Norwich. The co-judge of the hugely popular show ‘The Great British Bake Off’ visited the city to sign copies of her latest book: ‘Foolproof Cooking’. During a previous trip to the city as part of the BBC’s ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ programme, she learnt that her great great-grandfather was a Norwich baker. The recipient of a host of awards, including the CBE, Mary has written more re than 70 cookery books while her TV career has spanned four decades. She has cooked for VIPs, teamed with various retailers to market her own products and fronted a host of TV specials while being guest of honour at glittering functions. Her adventurous life has been peppered with challenges and salted with h kindness but her steadfastt Christian faith has seen he er through the joys, triumphss and sorrows, including one of the deepest heartachess imaginable.

However, in recent years buying patterns have changed somewhat and it’s nothing to do with global warming or the change in the seasons. When the children go back to school after the Christmas break, enquiry levels increase every day and these early season house hunters tend to be serious buyers rather than summer holidaymakers. Therefore it’s no longer necessary to withhold marketing your property until the spring, but it is important to present your home to show it off at its best. The presentation of your property is really important when you want to sell your home. We have all read about de-cluttering the house and baking bread or putting on the coffee to make the house appear welcoming, but it is equally important to tidy up the grounds and ensure that the first impression of the property is good.

Tom Blackmore and the School Inspector
W
hen I was a young valuer at Boardmans in the early 60s we used to go round to the farmers doing their annual valuations for income tax. There were loads of small farmers then; they were the salt of the earth and the backbone of the village communities. One such small farmer was Tom Blackmore, who farmed in our region. Tom would always have a plate of shortbread and a cup of tea ready for you and he always had a story to go with it. Now, when the Corn Exchange closed and the agricultural reps got cars they would call round on the farmers making themselves a damned nuisance. So Tom put up a big sign in his yard saying: ‘Callers Strictly Only by Appointment’.
Tom’s son Bugsy was only about a fortnight away from finishing school when Tom badly needed a hand on the drill. He said to Bugsy: “Don’t you go back to school, boy, you come and give me a hand,” which he duly did.

HOUSEPLANTS Houseplants can really brighten up your home during the winter, but they need special care to be kept in good condition. Cyclamen are a popular houseplant, but can be prone to yellowing leaves. This may be a sign that the plant has been watered too much. It’s best to water cyclamen from below by filling the saucer, leaving it for half an hour to absorb and then pouring away the remaining water. You should keep cacti dormant until March, with very little water and no feeding until then. With a Christmas cactus,
twist off some of the stem segment to balance the shape of the plant and encourage growth. You can use the detached segments as cuttings, if dried and kept warm for a week, to create more plants. Check that your houseplants are getting enough light but don’t leave them too close to single-glazed windows on frosty nights. In the winter and early spring water your houseplants sparingly until the weather starts to warm up and they come into active growth.
March is a good time to dig a new pond, so the showers of April can help to fill it up. Make sure that your pond is at least 2ft deep (at the deepest point) so that it does not fully freeze over. The pond shouldn’t be the same depth throughout; create sloping banks and shallow areas to promote wildlife and make it look more natural. A new pond can be prone to algae but filling the pond with rain water rather than tap water will reduce the problem. It also helps to introduce plants with floating leaves, like waterlilies, to create some shade. Spring is the time to start feeding the fish and remove any heaters from your pond. You can also clean out filters and water features for the new season. Look out for frogs, toads and newts, which begin to spawn as the spring arrives. If small children visit your garden then consider a mesh covering for your pond for safety – but make sure it still allows wildlife to access the pond.

ave you taken part in the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch? This annual event encourages members of the public up and down the country to watch and record all types of birds and other creatures that visit their garden over a one hour period on a set weekend in January. Individual observations are then collated, and the results build up an over-all picture of the spread of wildlife across the UK, and an indication of species increasing or declining in population. For those of you that already take part it’s worthwhile fun and a personal challenge to beat the previous year’s count, but what can you and newcomers to this activity do to increase your odds and attract more of our feathered friends into your gardens? Obviously, the best way to tempt garden birds in is to provide something they just can’t do without, and food is pretty high up on the list. Imagine if every restaurant in the country served free food, you would naturally choose to eat at the best and most convenient outlets, where the food is fresh, nutritious and plentiful, then you and many others would literally be flocking in! For nature it’s much the same, the quality, accessibility and variety of food available will determine the numbers and types of birds you are e likely to attract.
Cheap basic seed mixes usually contain a large amount of wheat and other bulking ingredients to help keep its cost down, but most small birds will sift through these in order to find more nutritious seeds, discarding all but the best bits onto the ground, either for larger species such as pigeons and pheasants to hoover up, or to germinate into a small lawn. Try upgrading to a ‘no mess’ mix which will contain a larger proportion of small seeds and no husks, plus any wheat that is included should have been crushed or rolled (our mix is also heat-treated which softens the seed making it more palatable, and also stops it from germinating). Birds adore sunflower seeds and most can split open the husks of black sunflowers, but for an even more rewarding snack sunflower hearts will fit the bill! These provide a luxury food source for almost all species, and a choice feed for goldfinches instead of the usual thistle (nyger) seed which requires a specialist feeder to stop wastage. Peanuts and suet-based snacks are high in fat and gre eat for feeding year round but especially in cold weather. Once again, quality varies greatly, so we now stock a premium fat ball, and although each costs a few pence more you can really see the difference, packed full of seed and containing 59% more protein than standard ones. Always keep your food offering fresh by putting out just enough for a couple of days, and try to serve at different heights, some at ground level for foraging birds such as dunnocks and thrushes, on tables (robins and blackbirds love mealworms), or in feeders for acrobatic tits and finches, and don’t forget to provide a source of clean water as eating is thirsty work! W
ith around just 200 residents, Gissing is one of South Norfolk’s smaller villages. Walking round its quiet lanes, you might be tempted to call it sleepy but over the last two years, it has won itself nearly £1 million of lottery funding for community projects. In 2017 that money will be making itself felt. The village’s new community building is well on the way to completion and in the spring, work to repair and improve Gissing‘s beautiful 12th century roundtowered church, will begin. What is really impressive, and what makes living in Gissing so special, is that although these achievements were initiated and directed by small groups of dedicated people, they have involved a very wide range of local talents. While some villagers drew up the business plans and justifications demanded by the Lottery, others
used their professional skills and equipment for more practical work. And although the two projects were bid for by separate village charities, there has been co-operation – and money saving – wherever possible. The new community building has been specifically designed to make life better for people here by attracting more services into the village. The improvements to the church are similarly expected to bring in more visitors and users. I came to live in Gissing as much by chance as anything but, having been part of its extraordinary achievements over the last few years, as well as some of its more regular but equally satisfying activities, I count myself very lucky. GER Station Pulham St Mary railway station first opened in December 1855, passengers services closed on 5th January 1953 but remained open for freight until July 1964. It has now been demolished and a private home is now on the site.
Aerodrome. C 1913 During World War I there was a Royal Naval airstation at Pulham St Mary, the hangars were erected to house the airships. This site is now Buxbox factory which makes cardboard.
Behind the people is the Pulham Post Office During the 1914 – 1918 war this was used by the soldiers to keep their families aware of their wellbeing.

Constipation is one of the most common digestive complaints with 25% of people affected, most often due to a diet of refined foods, inactivity or stress. The Stowaway cat In Part 5, Su was having second thoughts about her lunch date with Graham when Milly the cat got completely stuck on the bedroom windowsill… “Hang on!” I shouted as I went upstairs into the bedroom, intending to open the window, and let her in. “Budge up, woman,” I said, pointing to the other side of the window. “I can’t move!” was the retort I received. She was standing on the narrow sill, trying to twist her head so that she could stare inwards through the glass, her whiskers flattened the wrong way against her face, and her eyes wild and staring. “Yes, you can move,” I yelled, “and it might help if you backed away from the opening part of the window, so that I can let you in!” All this I had to shout loudly because of the efficiency of the double glazing and the inefficiency of the cat brain. She whimpered. “I can’t hear you. I can’t get down. I’m frightened. I don’t like it here. HELP ME!” Having no other choice, I ran downstairs, found the garage key, got the car out of the garage, found the ladder, went back indoors, upstairs, changed shoes, went back down, outside, positioned the ladder under the window, found two bits of brick to level-up the ladder, hoisted my skirt up to the waist and effected a rescue worthy of the fire brigade.
Within the space of four minutes all my efforts to look presentable for my lunch date with Graham were undone. “It was only a bloody grass snake, you dim-wit,” I growled as we made our undignified way back down the ladder. She jumped out of my arms to do the last 6 inches totally unaided. “Ah, back on solid ground,” she purred gaily, sounding like an astronaut landing on Mars. “I don’t know what all the fuss was about,” she trilled brightly. “Now I’ve got to put the ladder away, in case of burglars,” I muttered. So, at the very moment Graham rolled up in his magnificent car, I was frantically trying to re-apply lipstick without looking, squirting perfume to hide the smell of antiseptic cream on my gnawed bits of flesh, and generally trying to adopt a relaxed appearance. “Well, look at you!” he exclaimed, as he got out of the car. I panicked just for a moment, wondering which part of Milly was still sticking to me. “My very own fashion model,” he went on, smiling rather too smugly for my immediate comfort. I
t’s been a miserable time for savers in recent years with interest rates gradually edging closer to zero, making it nigh on impossible to get any meaningful return on your nest egg. With rates at rock bottom and further cuts taking place every week maybe now’s the time to consider an alternative and potentially more rewarding home for your savings such as peer to peer lending. The returns from peer to peer providers look more appealing than ever (with RateSetter for example offering 3.7% for a 1 year bond as I write this) and are in a different league from the best 1 year fixed rate ISAs with very few products paying 1% or above. In cold, hard cash terms 1.00% interest on the maximum cash ISA allowance of £15,240 would give you an annual interest return of £152.40 compared with a far healthier £563.88 from the RateSetter 1 year bond option. Zopa remains the biggest player in the peer to peer marketplace and is equally competitive with its rates. It currently boasts more than 59,000 investors, not surprising when you see that at present it offers a 3.9% return for up to 5 years. RateSetter is becoming one of the fastest growing P2P firms and saw an inflow of £60 million in the last month alone. It even offers a monthly access account paying 2.6% (at the time of writing) – so if you’re a little nervous
or unsure if this is right for you, you can dip your toe in the water and try it out with a minimum deposit of just £10. One of the main concerns with peer to peer providers has been that although the returns far outweigh those paid by the banks, they don’t offer the cast iron guarantee to savers that bank customers enjoy under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Providers have their own methods in place to protect depositors. RateSetter for example maintains a ‘provision fund’ with a balance of more than £22 million built up from borrower fees. The fund is used to reimburse lenders in the case of late payment or default. This safety net has ensured that since it started over six years ago, every penny of capital and interest has been returned to every single lender. Peer to peer is here to stay and as long as providers keep rates competitive and bad debt levels under control, there’s no doubt in my mind that P2P will become an even bigger thorn in the side of the traditional banks. If you’re fed up with the miserly bank and building society tax free deals this year, maybe it’s time to look elsewhere. Always seek independent professional financial advice before making any investment decision.

n 1977 Mike Harvey came up with the idea of renovating the old control tower at Thorpe Abbotts Airfield to form a living museum dedicated to personnel of the 100th Bomb Group, U.S. 8th Air Force who served at the base during the Second World War. Several like-minded people agreed and the landowner Sir Rupert Mann was approached, a 999 lease was agreed and volunteers started to clear a corner of the old airfield which included the control tower. More members of the local community got involved and the control tower, which had fallen into disrepair, was restored to its former glory. In 1983, all their hard work was rewarded when the museum was officially dedicated with many 100th Bomb Group veterans from the U.S. in attendance.
