In the July 7 edition of the Anza Outlook, the location of the annual Anza Electric Cooperative membership meeting and 65th anniversary celebration was erroneously reported. The AEC meeting will be held Saturday, July 16, at the Hamilton High School gymnasium.

Commencement Day at Olivet University June 24 with a prestigious guest and faculty gathered at the Riverside Campus to commemorate the graduation of students from Olivet campuses from across the United States.
This year Olivet University graduates were awarded 12 Bachelor of Arts degrees, one Journalism degree, 11 Theology majors, eight Master of Arts, one in Graphic Arts, one in Information Technology, two in Music, four in Translation and Interpretation, five in Master of Business Administration: 16 for Master of Divinity: nine Dr. of
Ministry, 12 total undergraduate, 29 total graduate and nine total doctoral. Grand total of degrees awarded was 50, not including online students and students scheduled for the winter graduation. Master of ceremonies Dr. Matthias Gephardt, the vice president of Olivet University, welcomed the visitors to the 900-acre campus

Years ago it was placed on Robyn Garrison’s heart to create a place where people would converge. A place that would serve the community; creating jobs, business opportunity, commerce, a destination place and so the 10 acres at the corner of Hwy 371 and Kirby Road will be known. The Destination Place, Garrison’s dream, is about to become a reality. The ten acres will be divided into several projects, a business complex, a place for Living Hope to have a church and a place for weddings, a miniature golf course, an open venture with a big screen at one end to be used for farmers’ markets/ Swapmeet or a drive in and even a hotel all tied together with green areas. The business complex will be the new home of Garrison’s ERA
