Villa 5 is a unique restaurant combining contemporary cuisine with a variety of fresh and relaxing atmospheres.

Our restaurant has 5 very special areas to pair with your culinary experience :

1- Our beautifully restored Villa highlights Cambodia’s pinnacle colonial architectural history.

2- The Garden, equipped with a custom smokeless fire-pit, is our centerpiece where nature serves as the background for unforgettable bonding and memories.

3- The Patio showcases the modernity of Phnom Penh with an elegant yet classic touch.

4- The Outdoors is our open-air dining area, complete with a retractable roof. Perfect for beautiful blue skies or star filled nights.

5- The Spice Garden is the secret engine of our kitchen where we source homegrown spices, herbs, and ingredien ts.

Villa 5 was designed and built by national and international experts and artisans, motivated and inspired to create a new experience in the city.

Our team is also committed to the support and use of sustainable and environmentally friendly products where possible.

Message from the Chef

A warm welcome to Villa 5!

My name is Sao Sopheak, and here's my story. I started my journey with a stroke of luck and plenty of ambition. As a young dreamer of a big career in the culinary world, I focused on self-growth, learned from the best, and eventually taught some of the best. Then, to work in a renowned kitchen, advance further to win an award, and see my name reach an international stage, I felt nothing but gratitude and joy.

My galvanizing experience ignited more than my career as a chef; it sparked an inner sense of creative ambition and clarity. As a result, I shifted my focus, besides the taste of the food, to technical precisions, visual presentations, quality of ingredients, and cooking methods.

An aspiration of mine is to combine Khmer cuisine with another cuisine and push it to a standard of culinary innovation. However, although I strive to be innovative, I like to stay true to my culture to offer an unforgettable dining experience.

With lots of hours planning and putting together creative dishes, I would like to present one of my latest culinary inventions, a fusion of Western and Khmer cuisine, here in Villa 5. You can experience this creativity and innovation through the courses on our menu.
