Design Explorations
The main constraint in this project was a lack of space for public realm around the building footprint. The objective was to facilitate the number of drones within the structure while not disrupting the view corridors to the museum.

FIFA Fan Villages, Qatar 2022
During my time at Killa Design, I worked on a competition proposing three FIFA Fan Village master plans across different sites in Qatar, drawing inspiration from the large-scale spatial arrangements seen at Burning Man and Coachella. By translating these precedents into site-specific design options, I focused on organizing circulation, integrating art installations, and creating engaging communal spaces. I also took on the responsibility of producing the design book and report, ensuring all conceptual material, visual documentation, and strategic insights were cohesively presented to showcase our approach and strengthen the competition submission.

Al Khor
In a comprehensive renovation project segmented into five culturally themed zones—Asia Court, India Court, Egypt, Tunisia, and Persia—I played a pivotal role from the conceptual stage onward, particularly leading the interior design for the Tunisia and Egypt Courts. My responsibilities spanned from initial concepts through schematic and detailed design, demonstrating my ability to blend cultural authenticity with modern functionality. In addition, I attended client meetings to present design reports and took charge of preparing material mood boards by sourcing samples from suppliers. This project underscores my broad design expertise, leadership in complex tasks, and commitment to creating visually compelling spaces that unify traditional elements with contemporary design principles.

The Grove, Abu Dhabi
The Grove is an authentic cultural district that complements and enriches the three museums at Saadiyat Island. It is the connective fabric that gives identity to the city and creates spaces where culture can thrive. In this project I was given the responsibility of collaborating with M.E.P and landscape consultants. I also produced S.D and D.D level drawings which include RC plans, sitewide sections, floor plans etc. I was also in charge of the ADA report and exporting renders through Enscape.

Bnaid Alqar District, Kuwait
In this commercial complex project—encompassing office, residential, hospitality, and medical typologies—I was engaged from the pre-concept stage to develop and communicate the modular design strategy and sustainability features. My responsibilities included producing concept diagrams, creating 3D models, and setting up Revit files from scratch. I also prepared a comprehensive report, worked on area plans for various design iterations, and produced additional diagrams to visualize key functional and environmental strategies. Through this process, I gained experience in balancing multifaceted programmatic requirements with efficiency and innovation.

Nad Al Shiba Mall, Dubai
In this high-end community mall project, I contributed from the pre-concept stage, primarily focusing on developing a compelling front façade design and creating conceptual renders using Enscape. Additionally, I was responsible for producing architectural sections, area plans, and assembling the design book, ensuring the mall’s presentation and documentation were both cohesive and visually engaging.

Al Marina Island Conceptual Masterplan, Abu Dhabi
I joined the project team during the development stage and remained involved through final submission, fo cusing on modeling multiple buildings in Rhino and producing Enscape renders for the island’s master plan. I also compiled the final report, synthesizing the design vision and technical details of two distinct concepts: the “Streamline” master plan, characterized by its futuristic aesthetic, and the “Pixels” master plan, which introduced canals throughout the island for dynamic urban interac tions.

Object to Housing: Transparency & Well-Being
The design evolution of this multi-family housing began with an ordinary household object: a humidifier. In its original form, the humidifier’s function is straightforward—to balance a home’s climate for comfort. The humidifier was dissected and transformed into a sculptural piece of observation which also functioned as a bookshelf. This object’s transformative journey through two design iterations now informs the architecture of a community space, where individual elements come together to support a cohesive environment, much like the components of the humidifier.

Abstraction of interior parts
In the whirlwind of our daily lives, we often glide past the myriad of objects that populate our environments, barely giving them a second glance. These artifacts, each with its own story, intricacy, and design, have become silent fixtures, their complexities veiled by familiarity and function. It is from this landscape of unnoticed simplicity that the concept for the Inside-Out Humidifier Transformation arises—a deliberate endeavor to peel back the layers of the mundane, to reveal the tapestry of design and engineering that lies beneath.

Shell Catalyst: A Multi-Purpose Hub for Urban Integration
This exploratory study examines how font styles can be translated into architectural shell forms by focusing on each typeface’s underlying qualities—authority, warmth, density, openness, fluidity, or complexity. The process begins with identifying the core signifiers of each font, then abstracting those characteristics into conceptual forms before finalizing them as shell structures. By drawing parallels between typography and spatial design, the study demonstrates how seemingly simple visual cues can inspire expressive geometries, resulting in architectural concepts that combine aesthetic resonance with functional innovation.

City as Body As City
Over the course of this project we were required to focus on a part of the body and explore the muscular system through a drawing analysis. Further to this we had to develop an architectural instrument that is seperate to the body. Finally we were required to imagine a speculative future that emplaces the instrument developed. For my project I decided to focus on the calf muscle.

The Wonderest Maker: Traces of Time, Presence, and Absence
For this project we were provided with a mystery box and after a thoughtful process of investigating and recording the materials within it. We were asked to construct a tectonic structure that was defined by an interplay of open and closed spaces, including a detail of motion and emphasis given to the protagonists (duck and the dog).
A series of drawings were created using alternative methods of representation, thus visually communicating and tracing in time complex spatial arrangements.

TurnOut: A View From the Road
As a Graduate Research Assistant for the TurnOut series at the University of Calgary’s School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, I supported the culmination of these efforts through a public symposium and exhibition at the Central Library titled “TurnOut: A View From the Road.” The event focused on critical urban challenges— homelessness, addiction, safety, community well-being, and harm reduction—while reflecting on and extending previous dialogues around socially conscious urban design. My contributions included in-depth research on homelessness in Calgary, compiling informational posters to communicate our findings, and fabricating custom copper-panel frames that elevated the visual impact of the exhibition. 14
