Hoi A Full Moon Festival:

Every full moon day of the month, the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hoi An sheds off its modernity and basks into its traditional avatar. The town cuts off ties with modern amenities like motorized traffic, fluorescent lights and transforms itself into a 18th and 19th century Chinese trading venue.

The town features Chinese opera, chess and plenty of other recreational and cultural activities that take you back in the time. Lim Festival: Every year on the 12–13th day of the first lunar month, Vietnamese people gather in the Tien Du District in Bac Ninh Province to celebrate the Lim festival. This festival is celebrated to pray to the gods and ancestors but the major attraction of Lim festival is the ‘Qua H ’ singing performance.

Quan Ho translates into traditional folk music. During the festival, several music groups perform traditional songs that talk about culture, love and aspects of village life. The music performances are conducted on boats. Locals visit the place to sing, listen and to catch up with friends.
