Large and shade-grown tea farms
Tea leaves are covered for roughly 20 days before being collected from gardens to avoid 90% sunlight. Under that ideal condition, the chlorophyll in the tea leaves will increase intensely, darken their color, sweeten their taste, and retain more nutrients (especially antioxidants).
Hand-picking harvesting method
Tea leaves are collected with the hand-picked method to ensure the freshness and quality of the powder after being processed.
Our Matcha’s quality is well-controlled from “ farm to table”
Our Matcha production and products meet many international and regional standards including ISO, HACCP, HALAL, ORGANIC, etc to ensure the safety and health benefits for consumers.
Large manufacturing & processing plants with modern machinery systems
Instead of traditional Granite Stone Grind, which has low capacity, our Matcha Powder is produced with automatic matcha processing lines from a reputable supplier in Japan –Terada Seisakusho Co., Ltd., Nippon Coke.

FAQs
1/ How can I evaluate the quality of Matcha powder?
The quality of matcha can be determined by assessing a powder’s color, aroma, and taste. For example, premi- umgrade matcha is characterized by a vibrant emerald coloration, a grassy aromatic quality, and a smooth, sweet, and umami (savory) avor, while lesser-grade matcha is often muted or yellowed in color and bitter when brewed.
2/ Where is FGC’s Matcha grown?
Our Matcha tea farms in Phu Tho Province and Highland Ha Giang, Vietnam, are for the Culinary and Industrial Grade, best suitable for cooking, baking, and blending supplements. And beauty products.
3/ Is there a difference between green tea powder and matcha?
Yes! They are different in terms of flavor, cultivation, and processing methods. Tea bushes used for matcha are maintained to maximize the leaves' chlorophyll and amino acid levels which create their distinctive flavor, aroma, and jade green color.
Matcha comes in a deeper taste compared to green tea. You can find it mellow, bright, vegetal, and even slightly bitter taste, with clear notes of sweetness and umami.
4/ Are all Matcha grades created equally?
The answer is “ No” because Matcha production is a meticulous process that results in a high degree of product variability. There are three primary Matcha grades in the market:
Ceremonial Matcha is the highest quality matcha available and is explicitly intended for tea consumption.
Culinary Matcha is a bit bitter and robust matcha that is often used for cooking and blending.
Industrial Matcha is alternatively used as an ingredient in various vitamins, health supplements, and beauty products.
Among the above grades, FGC provides you with Culinary and Industrial ones, ideal for daily use and accessories.
