Brazed plate heat exchanger with integrated distributor

With brazed corrugated stainless steel plates, this compact heat exchanger offers a highly efficient heat transfer rate that is less susceptible to erosion and corrosion while maintaining a homogeneous refrigerant distribution.

CONDENSER FAN AND MOTOR CASING Unit casing shall be constructed of 1.2 mm zinc coated heavy gauge galvanized steel. Exterior surfaces shall be cleaned, chemically treated and finished with weather - resistant baked polyester powder finish. Unit shall have removable panels for access to major components and control. Controls shall be mounted in weatherproofed cabinets. The removable panels shall be held in place by “rapid access” clips and Allen key arrangements.

No messy field assembly or refrigerant charging is required. Further, the unit has been designed for single power and water connection.

HFCA & HCCA :Ranging from 300 to 2,500 cfm, highly flexible low height fan coil units are designed to meet tight ceiling space applications.

Units shall have independent refrigeration circuit(s), system leak tested at the minimum 300 psig working pressure. Each refrigeration circuit shall have an internal sub cooling circuit. Refrigeration filter drier, high and low pressure schreder valve and sight glass with moisture indicator shall be provided as standard. Scroll compressor, shall be piped in parallel, with a passive oil management system. Passive oil management system maintains proper oil levels within compressors and has no moving parts. Each refrigeration circuit will include an externally equalized expansion valve. The standard leaving chilled water temperature is 41 to 54 deg. F.

Direct drive, statically and dynamically balanced propeller fan with aluminum blades shall be used in draw-thru vertical discharge position. The motor shall be 3 phase and for continuous air over motor duty. Motor overload protection shall be provided as standard.

CONTROLS ( Start ) Compressors contactors and controls are in weather-tight enclosure with knockouts for site installed wiring. Control wiring shall be 240V Microcomputer. Controls shall provide all control functions including leaving chilled water functions, temperature control, automatic compressor sequencing load limiting and anti-recycle functions. Failure protections, shall include chiller freezing compressor running overcurrent, phrase loss phrase reversal, under and over voltage , loss of charge high motor winding temperature, high and low refrigerant pressure. Controls shall be of a start stop switch, a leaving water temperature setpoint adjustment, a dT adjustment and a digital display. Display readouts shall include operating codes water temperature setpoint operating temperatures other operating readouts and diagnostic codes. The units shall have a single-point, three phrase power connection . The unit shall accept chilled water flow interlock from a factory installed flow switch.

OPTIONAL FEATURES COMPRESSORS Scroll compressors have simple mechanical design which provides inherently low vibration. Scroll compressors include centrifugal oil pump, built-in dirt separator, oil levels sight glass and oil charging valve. The direct -drive suction gas - cooled compressor motor has a voltage utilization range of plus or minus 10 percent of nameplate voltage. Motor winding thermal overload and over current protection shall be included as standard.

Corrosion-resistant finned condenser coil

BD : Belt-driven blower coil air handlers for flexible installation. Convertible units (horizontal and vertical floor configuration) with range of airflow between 3,000 cfm and 7,000 cfm comes factory fitted with motor and drive assembly.

LWHA: Commercial Slim, Single Wall Ceiling Duct Units from 400 - 4,000 cfm. Augurs well for applications in colleges, factories, office buildings, complexes, hotels and theaters.

A layer of resin is coated onto the surface of the fins to increase resistance to corrosion in harsh environmental conditions. A 500 hours, salt-spray test (in accordance to JIS-Z-2371) and humidity test (at 50 deg. C, 98% relative humidity) had been performed to confirm the corrosion-proof property of this coating.

FLOW SWITCH This is a factory installed standard which indicate loss flow, to ensure against freezing.

CONDENSER COIL Coils shall be 3/8 ” copper tubes mechanically bonded to configured aluminum plate fin as standard. Factory proof and leak pressure tested at 450 psig.

WATER STRAINER Strainers are a requirement for all water evaporators. These are available as a factory ship standard.

CLCP : Designed for superior air quality and water management system. A showcase appearance with Intelligent System Control option among the multitude of other options. These air handlers are designed for both commercial and stringent varied industrial applications. Airflow ranges is from 1,000 to 100,000 cfm.

Step 2: Use the table below to determine the unit size by picking the closest airflow or total cooling capacity. Step 3: The unit width and height are the same for all sections. Unit length in Table A is based on basic fan+coil+flat filter sections only. For other combinations, use Table B: Standard Section Length to determine the overall unit length. Step 4: Determine the nominal unit details (unit weight, coil water pressure drop, water flow rate and motor installed power) using Table A.
