Monolog

Hi, I'm Alain Altamira. I am 23 years old and I currently live in Puebla, Mexico with my mother, grandparents, and my younger brother, I study at a small university in the mornings and in the afternoons I work as an assistant in a small traditional Mexican food restaurant, having been born and raised here, the food from this part of Mexico has always caught my attention, but my dream has always been to be a successful chef and have my own famous restaurant together with my best friend Ivan, who by the way I met at the restaurant in which I work.

Thinking about my dream and everything that I can become puts me in a good mood, although it is easy for me to lose it since I get desperate or get angry easily, getting to annoy more than one with my complaints, because what I was going, it is that I have always wanted to be a chef and with the support of my mother and grandmother I know that I can become that and much more but I am very afraid of disappointing them since they have all their confidence in me to get ahead since the death of my dad.

Due to this event I had to work from an early age, around 16 years old, to be able to help my family with the main cats of the box, that's how I found this job in the restaurant, with which as I mentioned before, I fell in love of the kitchen, since it is not only that but it is an art, it is a creative way of preparing food and it depends a lot on the culture, in terms of knowledge regarding food, its way of preparing it, as well as the social customs that entails making food.
