Ce projet fut très intéressant. Le groupe était constitué de deux chefs de chantier, un ingénieur, une paysagiste et moi même. J’ai pu expérimenter de manière concrète la coopération avec les différents corps de métiers. Elaboration du projet sur Rhino et Autocad. This project was very interesting because it was with a group of six people; including two architects, two construction managers, an engineer, and a landscape architect. Working with this team made me realize and appreciate interdisciplinary cooperation.

bridges L’école d’art se compose de deux parties: une publique avec une galerie et un amphithéatre, l’autre privée avec les ateliers et l’administration. Le tout est relié par un aménagement paysagé en harmonie avec l’architecture. Le bâtiment est qualifié HQE.

The design goal: the CCS was divided into two parts, one public and one private. Our response was to create a continuous landscape connecting the two while providing an art gallery and an indoor amphitheater. The buiding is LEED silver.

Archtecture paysagère, China ' La mémoire de l'eau '

Lors de mon stage de master ll à l’Agence Babylone, j’ai pu participer au design paysager d’une ville nouvelle à Hengqin en Chine. Le projet réinterprète l’organisation particulière des parcelles ostréicoles et des canaux. La ville favorise ainsi la biodiversité utile à la qualité urbaine ( loisirs, alimentation, dépollution) sur de très vastes échelles. During my internship at Agence Babylone, I participated in the landscape design of the new city Hengqin in China. The project reinterprets the particular organization of oyster plots and canals. The city promotes biodiversity, useful to urban quality (leisure, food, clean air) on a large scale.

Concours près de l’aéroport de Pékin. D’après Geoform Architects, ce complexe a pour but de créer, d’ unifier le bâtiment et son contexte. Les formes s’inspirent de la beauté désorganisée des jardins chinois. Competition near Beijing’s airport. According to Geoform Architects, this project attempts to produce environments that unify the building and the context. The overall arrangement of the complex was inspired by the beautiful disorder of typical Chinese gardens.

Après avoir reçu les consignes architecturales de Citroën France, j’ai du les traduire et trouver les matériaux équivalents pour construire en Australie. L’objectif principal était de représenter Citroen de manière forte dans tout le pays; afin que chaque concessionnaire exprime tous les éléments spécifiques à Citroën, tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. Received and translated the coprporate image from France; found equivalent materials for construction in Australia. The main goal was to provide a N O showroom R T H E L strong Citroen representation across Australia. In the end, each expressed all of the Citroen corporate design elements, inside and out.

Projet urbain 40 logements

Ces deux bâtiments (2x20 logements) font partie d’un programme urbain. Par équipe de deux, nous avons imaginé la ville de demain à Ablon sur Seine (94). Elle est écologique, et concue de manière a utiliser peu de transport en commun. This project was the residential development phase of a major urban planning project. The goal was to provide the city of Ablon, a sustainable future with increased pedestrian access and less reliance on the automobile. The complex has 40 apartments with handicap accessibility.

L’architecture savoyarde est adaptée à son environnement, qui peut tendre certains pièges: terrain pentu, conditions de construction, matériaux régionaux,etc. Elle demande une attention particulière. J’ai travaillé sur l’élaboration des façades et ses détails, en phase PC. Savoyard architecture is specific to its environment, and contains several challenges requiring special attention: steep terrain, construction conditions, local materials, etc.. Spiritual Folly

Los Angeles Retreat

L’intention de ce projet était de créer six bâtiments différents avec un programme variés, sous le thème de la retraite spirituelle. Plus on descend dans la pente, plus celui-ci devient privé. Afin d’avoir une harmonie, les matériaux sont identiques: corten et béton blanc. The intention of this project was to create six different buildings with varying programs that become progressively more private as they recede down the site’s major slope. The materials for each building will be a variation of white concrete and corten steel.

Ecole d’arts plastiques repère dans la ville

Sous le thème des lignes de métro. Une ligne = une discipline (art, photo, peinture ou administration). Les façades en polycarbonate permettent une bonne luminosité, et rendent le bâtiment comme un repère lumineux la nuit. The concept for this school was based on the Parisian metro line. Each of them corresponds to a specific major: photography, art , and design. The created spaces were pure and meant to unleash each student’s imagination.

La ville de Seattle a décidé de démolir le viaduc, qui coupait littéralement l’accès et la vue de la baie. Le projet consiste à récupérer cet espace vide pour en faire une circulation douce, avec des parcs et autres endroits de loisirs. Bien que la région soit très verte, les habitants ont besoin de parcs de proximité. Ceci est un extrait. The city of Seattle has decided to demolish the existing Alaskan Way Viaduct, which literally divides downtown and the view of the bay. The project is to reclaim the space along the demolished viaduct, and provide the city with a promenade of entertainment and an interconnecting park. Here is an excerpt of my thesis.

La séquence des événements (Pier 48) se situe dans le quartier du port industriel proche du principal stade de la ville. Cet espace est parfait pour des grands festivals, et peut remplir plusieurs fonctions tout au long de l’année. The event sequence centers on Pier 48, and is in the industrial port neighborhood containing the city’s main stadium. This space is perfect for big festivals, and can serve various functions for any season.

Seattle Waterfront

Séquence eau: Seattle Waterfront Pool

La séquence eau est définie par l’aquarium de Seattle et par mon PFE Seattle Waterfront Pool. Grâce à ce dernier la ville peut profiter pleinement de la vue sur les Olympic Mountains en nageant dans les bassins au même niveau que l’eau de la mer. Ainsi, la fusion totale entre la ville et le waterfront perdure. The water sequence is defined by the Seattle Aquarium and my thesis project, the Seattle Waterfront Pool. Here the city can enjoy the view of the Olympic Mountains, while swimming at the same level as the seawater. Thus, the fusion between the city and waterfront is total.
