We chose English beauty ideal because we feel that its one of the cultures most representative of what European beauty is England has a population of 52 million inhabitants, where more than 20 million are women. These women loves fashion and are the biggest consumers of fashion magazines (Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Vanity Fair) and the latest trends from top designers. The streets of England are big catwalks!

Women in England have pale skin and blond hair or sometimes they are ginger. They have light eyes, between green and blue. The features of their faces are thin and they have their jaws and cheeks well defined. The average height of women is 171 cm, so they are tall, it is showed mostly in theirs long legs. Besides they are very thin. Women wear a little more formal clothing (like "Queen“ style) but with a risky and a modern touch, but always with muted colors. They Almost never use short light clothes because they have cold weather.

CONCLUSION We showed the different beauty ideals in different countries and we compare the clothes they use, the physical features, and the personality characteristics. They are different and we realized that fashion and beauty ideals in America are not the same as in Europe. We decided to look for information of beauty ideals from different countries to compare the ideology that each country have. In this project we saw different things which unfortunately happen in different parts of the world, for example anorexia and bulimic which it is a really interesting topic that is affecting teenagers and adults, especially women, into an impressive way. Here we have a critical written by an English woman who talks about the beauty and the problems of weigh in her country: ”So, no worries then that we should actually see real normal people in magazines or on catwalks. And the kind of women who make it on to the catwalk have figures that are actually unobtainable to over 95% of the population. That’s right – no matter how hard you try, you haven’t a snowballs chance of ever looking like one of those gals. Yet they’re held up as the ideal body type and shape. It’s obviously better to promote anorexia over obesity eh?”

Beauty ideals of English women are different from ours and others over out the world. But all ideals aspire to something that is impossible to achieve, perfection. All women want to be like someone else, English as we said before, have their icons. However, what is the price to become like as they? For us beauty is much more than the outside, and no matter what society says, all women are beautiful
