A working photojournalist for most of his career, his newsmagazine photo credits have included: Time, Newsweek, the New York Times Magazine, and many more; and it’s those skills and that experience that make his photo coverage of family life-cycle events special. His photographs are un-staged: “I follow no formula”, he says as he relies on his own sensitivity, experience, and sense of humor as he makes emotionally resonant images that reveal stories and personalities and most importantly transcend the obvious.
