El último trimestre del año es un buen momento para agradecer por las cosas buenas que han sucedido en nuestra empresa. Y sí, digo buenas, ya que el mundo aún se encuentra tomando medidas en sus fronteras y de alguna manera nos afecta a todos al pensar en viajar.
Sin embargo, hemos visto cómo varios países, entre ellos, Ecuador, Colombia y México han abierto sus fronteras al turismo, y las grandes ciudades, Nueva York y París, vuelven a su ritmo casi normal en bares y restaurantes. Podemos salir, tomar un café y sentir otra vez la felicidad de reunirnos en grupo con la certeza de que todos hemos sido responsables con el plan de vacunación de cada país, apelando al compromiso personal con nuestra salud.
¡Oh, sí! Las buenas nuevas, tenemos algunas que mencionar: agradecer por la salud de nuestros colaboradores y familias y por cada día llegar a una comunidad más grande de viajes y bodas. Ahora también desde eventos como Pure Life Experience del que fuimos parte por primera vez, conectado con el mundo y sobre todo, por la nueva sede de nuestra revista en la Gran Manzana, la ciudad de Nueva York, de donde la promoción de nuestra Sudamérica romántica seguirá en ascenso.

New starts and opportunities
The last quarter of the year is a good time to give thanks for all of the good things that have happened in our company. And yes, I say good things, since countries around the world are still taking measures at their borders that, in some way, a ect all of us when it comes to traveling.
However, we´ve seen how several countries, including Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico, have opened their borders to tourism, and the big cities, New York and Paris, have returned to near-normal levels of fun and excitement in bars and restaurants. We can go out, enjoy a special cup of co ee, and once again feel the happiness of meeting up with a group of friends, knowing that we have all followed the vaccination plan implemented in each country, and have not wavered from our own personal commitment to health.
And finally, the good news! We would like to toast to the health of our team members and families, and to a new day to reach a larger community that loves traveling and weddings. We’ve recently had the opportunity to participate in events such as Pure Life Experience, where we were connected to people and destinations from around the world
and, above all, to the new headquarters of our magazine in New York City, where we will continue to tirelessly promote our unquestionably romantic, stunning South America.
Once again, we are grateful for the new beginnings and opportunities that lie ahead, which the last 18 months have prepared us for. It’s time to look forward unabatedly.

Lucero nos cuenta que el gobierno mexicano ha entendido la gran labor que hace la industria de bodas en México y ha apoyado la reapertura de eventos sociales. Los requisitos para entrar al país se actualizan constantemente, por lo que recomendamos revisarlos antes de viajar. “Normalmente nuestros proyectos se trabajan con una anticipación de 8 a 15 meses, donde se lleva a cabo toda la planificación y estructura de diseño de imagen basados en la inspiración de cada novia”, dice Álvarez.
Muchas novias han postergado su boda a consecuencia de la pandemia y la disponibilidad para 2022 está muy baja por la saturación que existe en estos momentos. “Definitivamente el centro del país donde es la cuna histórica de México es la parte más bonita para realizar bodas destino, ya que cuenta con diversas actividades a realizar días previos al evento para que los invitados conozcan un poco más de nuestra cultura”, enfatiza Álvarez, muy orgullosa de sus orígenes.
Su especialidad son las bodas en la zona del Bajío (Querétaro, San Miguel de Allende, Tequisquiapan, Bernal, Celaya, San Juan del Río y Guanajuato), llevando a cabo alrededor de 30 bodas al año. Su equipo habla dos idiomas y está certificado por la SECTUR (Secretaria de Gobierno de México) como especialistas de bodas destino.

Getting to know Lucero Álvarez, Destination Wedding Specialist
Lucero Álvarez is a renowned Wedding Planner and event designer based out of Mexico City. Her career naturally took her to San Miguel de Allende and Querétaro, two of the most popular cities for destination weddings in the country.
Her business has led her to meet hundreds of couples, successfully interpreting the wishes of each one.
Lucero tells us that the government of Mexico understands the importance of the wedding industry in Mexico, and has thrown its support behind resuming in-person social events. Entry requirements to the country are constantly updated, so we recommend reviewing them before traveling. “We normally begin working on our projects 8 to 15 months in advance. All of the planning and image design is carried out based on the inspiration of each bride,” says Álvarez.
Many brides have postponed their weddings as a result of the pandemic, and availability for 2022 is very low due to the sheer volume of events currently booked. “There’s no question that the center of the country, which is the most historic part of Mexico, is the most beautiful region for destination weddings, since there are various activities that the couple and their guests can do in the days leading up to the event. This gives them the chance to get to know our culture a little more,” emphasizes Álvarez , who is very proud of her origins.
She specializes in weddings in the Bajío area (Querétaro, San Miguel de Allende, Tequisquiapan, Bernal, Celaya, San Juan del Río and Guanajuato), planning around 30 weddings every year. Her team is fully bilingual and is certified by SECTUR as destination wedding specialists.
Who are your clients?
Most of the brides who contact us for destination weddings are Latinas living in the United States or Americans and Canadians. The government is currently allowing events of up to 200 people in San Miguel de Allende, and we hope that by 2022 they will increase that number to 300 people.

CAROLINA Y ANDRÉS
Carolina and Andrés met in Mexico City at the graduation of a mutual friend. At that time, Andrés lived in Monterrey and Carolina in Madrid. They were in town for a week, and planned to go out and explore the city. “We clicked right away!” recalls Carolina.
They began to travel together to different places, including Medellín, Ecuador, Mexico (several times), Miami and Madrid. Getting to know new places together strengthened their relationship, which became very strong over a year and a half. Andrés then organized a surprise trip to Tulum, knowing that Carolina really wanted to visit it.
Andrés had prepared a Mayan ritual to cleanse their energies and pray for them as a couple. It was an ideal date, and the energy that they felt there was very strong: March 20, 2019, the spring equinox. Afterward, they went to a cenote (a water hole in a crater that is sacred to the Mayans) where they began a ritual with a healer and, while Carolina closed her eyes for a moment, Andrés knelt down and asked her to marry him.
We wanted to know more about what the process of organizing a wedding outside of Ecuador was like under the current circumstances, and why they decided to get married in Mexico.
Carolina: “One of the first cities I visited with Andrés was San Miguel de Allende — I fell in love with the place. He was born in a city an hour from there, and since childhood he had visited San Miguel, which he has a special affection for.
We had always wanted a Destination Wedding. We thought it would be an incredible experience for both the guests and for us. Andrés had made the decision to move to Ecuador, so that was one of the reasons why we wanted to get married in Mexico. It seemed to be a complicated process at first, but our Wedding Planner was excellent and supportive throughout the process. We didn’t count on the fact that a month before the wedding, everything would be closed and that life would drastically change for us, just like it did for everyone else.”
Letting go and just going with the flow was what allowed Carolina and Andrés to continue planning their dream wedding and adjust it down from 600 people to 200, including a 3-day experience to pamper all of their guests.

Traveling with their families, experiencing all of the nerves that come with the week of the wedding, and enjoying Mexican culture together, from its food to its traditions, places, colors and music, ended in the best experience of their lives.
Carolina tells us that the biggest lesson for her in difficult times is to find a balance between our professional and personal lives, giving ourselves space and making sure that we recharge our energy in order to be able to flow seamlessly between the different roles that we fill as women.

They are planning to honeymoon in Kenya and then in the Seychelles Islands next year due to restrictions in different countries. Meanwhile, they decided to travel to a beach in the Riviera Nayarit where they stayed at the One & Only Mandarina hotel.

El mejor consejo, siempre ser uno sin dejar de ser dos”
Cómo inició todo
Rafael y Sonsoles se conocieron en Guayaquil, unos amigos en común organizaron una cita a ciegas aunque ella no llegó a la cena, sino a la fiesta. Rafael fue por trabajo y se instaló todo el fin de semana.
La chispa del amor no fue inmediata por el hecho de que Rafael fuera menor y un baile juntos no fue suficiente. Sin embargo, al día siguiente, en medio del chuchaqui, unas cervezas frías y la piscina, fue el momento perfecto para conversar y enamorarse. Después de unos meses viajaron a Holanda a estudiar y desde entonces llevan juntos dos años y medio.
La pedida de mano no fue algo convencional. Rafael no cae en los estereotipos y guiones, según nos cuenta Sonsoles. Una noche conversando les surgió la idea de hacer algo que les guste, un lugar favorito de los dos, y así empezó todo. “Incluso decidimos cambiarle el nombre a nuestro evento, no era un matrimonio ni una boda, sino una Experiencia de Compromiso de un Proyecto de Vida (ECPV)”—recalcó Sonsoles.
La Boda
Sonsoles: “Queríamos una experiencia de varios días más que una boda normal y el Tena era el lugar indicado para traer a nuestros invitados de todas partes a compartir con nosotros esta increíble experiencia en medio de la Amazonía, que puedan conocer de cerca nuestra propuesta en este proyecto de vida juntos.
El primer día fuimos al río Inchillaki donde hicimos una gymkana para que los invitados se integren, se conozcan entre todos, en medio de la naturaleza que tanto nos gusta. Esa noche también hicimos una cena en el restaurante del hotel.
El segundo día fue el ‘gran día’, para el cual quisimos hacer
una ceremonia especial no religiosa. El Ágora del Arahuana Jungle Resort (donde nos estábamos hospedando todos) fue preciso para intercambiar los votos por ser un lugar abierto, lleno de naturaleza y de magia. Luego de la ceremonia, fuimos a la Vieja Hacienda, donde fue la cena y la fiesta.
Quisimos que todo el evento esté decorado con mucha vegetación color verde y algo de rosas, asemejándose a la selva. Nuestros invitados fueron de blanco porque Rafa y yo estábamos de azul/celeste. Nuestro banquete fue 100% vegano y nos encantó que nuestros invitados–la mayoría no veganos—puedan apreciar y disfrutar de la comida, tal como nosotros.
Toda la experiencia superó nuestras propias expectativas. Simplemente fue invaluable disfrutar con todos nuestros familiares y amigos cercanos de lo que nos gusta, en un lugar que nos encanta y al mismo tiempo transmitir un mensaje de conservación”.
La organización
Contaron con el apoyo de su queridísima amiga, Melanie Molina @ BigDayEvents, quien hizo que toda la decoración pareciera salida de un cuento de hadas o una inspiración de Pinterest. Les encantó cómo captó su idea y la plasmó mucho mejor de lo que los novios hubieran imaginado.
Mi Consejo de Novia
Sonsoles: “Definitivamente, el mejor
consejo que puedo dar es tener apoyo de terceros y no estresarse, ¡lo cual es muy difícil! Sin embargo, la clave está en la selección de tu equipo y proveedores. Asegúrate que estén dispuestos a dar la milla extra y a no entorpecer tu día. Al ser en la ciudad del Tena, tuvimos que llevar a varios proveedores desde la ciudad de Quito como, por ejemplo: nuestro creativo chef vegano Renato Paredes, nuestro gran fotógrafo Daniel Sierralta, nuestro talentoso trompetista César Sintra que vino desde Mindo, nuestro hábil videógrafo Carlos López que vino desde Guayaquil, entre otros. Este equipo estaba dispuesto a todo, tenían una predisposición increíble y se manejan solos”.
Nuestra vida en pareja
Sonsoles: “El mejor consejo, siempre ser uno sin dejar de ser dos. Nosotros somos muy fieles a quienes somos y amamos mucho eso del otro, por eso decidimos compartir nuestras vidas para apoyarnos en nuestros propios proyectos de vida y crear un proyecto de vida juntos”.
¿Qué hay de la luna de miel?
La luna de miel sería en el sudeste asiático, pero con las restricciones de la pandemia tuvieron que aplazarla. Posteriormente, decidieron viajar a Chile a esquiar, pero, curiosamente, también cerraron las fronteras. Finalmente, fueron a Cartagena, a Islas del Rosario, Santa Marta, el Tayrona y Bogotá para disfrutar unos días de relajación.
Unconventional love: Rafael and Sonsoles
How it all started
Rafael and Sonsoles met in Guayaquil where some mutual friends organized a blind date. While she didn’t make it to dinner, she did show up for the party afterwards. Rafael went for work and stayed in the city for the weekend.
Sparks didn’t fly right away because Rafael was younger and a dance together was simply not enough. However, the next day, in the middle of a pounding hangover, some cold beers, and relaxing in the pool, they had the chance to talk and fall in love. After a few months, they traveled to Holland together to study, and they’ve now been together for two and a half years.
Rafael’s proposal was certainly unconventional. He doesn’t fall into stereotypes and scripts, according to Sonsoles. However, one night while they were talking, they came up with the idea of doing something they like somewhere that they both love, and that’s how it all began. “We even decided to change the name of our event. We didn’t want to call it a marriage or wedding, but rather a Life Project Commitment Experience (LPCE)” - Sonsoles stressed.
The wedding
Sonsoles: “We wanted an experience lasting several days rather than a traditional wedding, and Tena was the perfect place to bring our guests together from all over to enjoy this incredible experience with us in the middle of the Amazon. It was a great opportunity to tell them more about our life project together.
The first day we went to the Inchillaki River where we did a gymkhana to help our guests get to know each other in the middle of nature. That night we also had dinner at the hotel restaurant.
The second day was the ‘big day,’ and we wanted to have a special non-religious ceremony. The Agora del Arahuana Jungle Resort (where we were all staying) was the perfect place for exchanging vows – it is an open place that is bursting with nature and magic. After the ceremony, we went to La Vieja Hacienda, where we had a dinner and a party.
We wanted the entire event to be decorated with lots of green vegetation and some pink hues, resembling the jungle.
Our guests wore white because Rafa and I were wearing blue / light blue. Our dinner was 100% vegan and we were delighted that our guests -most of whom were not vegans- were able to try and enjoy the food, just like us.
The whole experience exceeded our own expectations. It was simply wonderful to spend time with all our family and close friends in a place that we love and at the same time spread a message of conservation.”
Organizing the wedding
They had the support of their dear friend, Melanie Molina @ BigDayEvents, who made the entire decor look like they had stepped into a fairy tale or a Pinterest inspiration. They loved how she captured their idea and reproduced it much better than the bride and groom could have imagined.
Advice for brides
Sonsoles: “Definitely the best advice I can give is to have third party support and not stress, which is very difficult! However, the key is in choosing your team and your suppliers. Make sure they are willing to go the extra mile and not disrupt your day. Being in the city of Tena, we had to bring several suppliers from the city of Quito, including our creative vegan chef, Renato Paredes, our great photographer, Daniel Sierralta, our talented trumpet player, César Sintra who came from Mindo, and our skilled videographer, Carlos López, who came from Guayaquil, among others. Our team was ready for anything –they were incredibly willing and they were able to take care of everything themselves.”
Our life as a couple
“The best advice: be a team without ceasing to be individuals. We are very faithful to who we are, and we love that in each other very much. That’s why we decided to spend our lives together and to support each other in our own life projects and create a life project together.”
What about the honeymoon?
The newlyweds were planning on spending their honeymoon in Southeast Asia, but due to pandemic restrictions they had to postpone it. Later, they decided to travel to Chile to go skiing together, but before they could go they also closed the borders. Finally, they went to Cartagena, Rosario Islands, Santa Marta, Tayrona and Bogotá to relax for a few days together.

Isabela y Héctor tienen una historia como amigos desde 2014. Su relación, según nos cuentan, siempre fue fácil y alegre, y la formalizaron en 2016. Después de 4 años juntos, Héctor le pidió matrimonio en un increíble viaje a México, instantes antes de subir a un globo aerostático en las Pirámides de Teotihuacán. Isabela recuerda que para ella fue perfecto, siempre soñó con una pedida de mano sencilla e íntima.
El escenario de su boda fue Punta Blanca en una casa preciosa frente al mar propiedad de sus padres—siempre quiso casarse ahí. Una decoración en blanco, sobria y elegante dio paso a una gran celebración familiar y de amigos que no pararon de bailar toda la noche. La coordinación estuvo en manos de Alfonsina Borja, con la decoración y ambientación de Johanna Kronfle, un equipo ideal.
Su consejo sobre qué sí y qué no hacer durante la organización de tu boda: “Es súper importante ordenar tus prioridades para saber en qué destinar más presupuesto; contratar una Wedding Planner que resuelva tu vida”—nos dice sonriendo—“y, sobre todo, no escuchar comentarios tóxicos y confiar en el equipo que está a cargo”.
Su luna de miel la disfrutaron en República Dominicana en las playas de La Romana y en la ciudad de Nueva York. Su idea fue combinar la playa con un destino de ciudad. Más adelante están planificando un viaje a las Islas Galápagos.
Isabela se considera una persona multifacética y
emprendedora. “¡Siempre quiero aprender y estar en todo!” Actualmente tiene una peluquería que se llama IsaCabina, su primer proyecto. “Le pongo todo mi esfuerzo y corazón para que siga creciendo”.
Además, junto a su socia y amiga muy querida, abrieron una tienda de vestidos de novia de diseñadores. ¡Estamos seguros de que será un éxito! Nuestra comunidad de novias estará atenta a esta nueva propuesta. Nos aconseja que sigamos nuestros sueños y trabajemos duro por ellos. Dar forma a las ideas un paso a la vez te acercará cada día más a volverlas realidad.
En cuanto a encontrar al amor, nos anima a no pensarlo tanto, cuando menos te lo esperas te empieza a gustar tu amigo de toda la vida o conoces a alguien nuevo. Hoy en día, las mujeres viven para ellas y son felices con o sin pareja.
Isabela and Héctor, from the friendzone to the altar
Isabela and Héctor have been friends since 2014. Their relationship, as they tell it, was always care-free and fun.
Two years later, they formally began dating and, after 4 years together, Hector proposed to her on an unforgettable trip to Mexico, moments before boarding a hot air balloon at the Pyramids of Teotihuacán. Isabel remembers that it was absolutely perfect – she always dreamed of a simple and intimate proposal.
The wedding was held in a beautiful beachfront house in Punta Blanca owned by her parents — she always wanted to get married there. A white, contemporary and elegant wedding gave way to a huge celebration with family and friends who danced all night. The wedding was planned by Alfonsina Borja and decorated by Johanna Kronfle, who made an ideal team.
We asked her for some advice on what to do and what not to do while organizing your wedding: “It is very important to set your priorities to know where to invest more; hiring a Wedding Planner who takes care of everything” —she says, smiling— “and, above all, don’t listen to negative comments and trust the team in charge.”
They spent their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic on the idyllic beaches of La Romana and in New York City because she wanted to combine the beach with a city destination. At some point in the future, they are planning a trip to the renowned Galapagos Islands.
Isabela considers herself a multifaceted and entrepreneurial person. “I’m always interested in learning new things and getting involved in everything!” She currently has a hair salon called IsaCabina, her first project. “I put all of my effort and heart into it so that it continues to grow.”
In addition, together with a very close friend and partner, she opened a designer wedding dress store. We are sure it will be a success! Our bridal community will unquestionably be interested in her new styles and options. She advises us to follow our dreams and work hard for them. Giving form to our ideas one step at a time will bring us closer to making our dreams come true!
As for finding love, she encourages us to not spend so much time thinking about it – when you least expect it, you start to take an interest in your lifelong friend or you meet someone new. Today, women focus on themselves and are happy with or without a partner.

Después de la gran conmoción suscitada por una boda de lujo en el centro histórico de Quito, la coyuntura política, el tono de una carta o la falta de atención en la ortografía de la tan comentada Wedding Planner, nos damos cuenta de que la responsabilidad de un evento grande o pequeño siempre recae en estas hadas blancas.
Pero no, no se confundan, no mencionaremos los riesgos que conlleva esta profesión, más allá de eso, hablaremos de una gran verdad que aqueja a las profesionales de este sector, porque siempre “la culpa es de la Wedding Planner”.
Tiene la culpa de retirar un montaje de carpas de 3 días en 10 minutos para que esté al gusto de la novia.
La Wedding Planner tiene la culpa de lograr que ni los invitados ni los novios se enteren de que el tan afamado Dj contratado no llegó a la fiesta a tiempo y que ella tuvo que improvisar con Spotify para que nadie sintiera la falta del ambiente, mientras se derrumbaba del estrés.
Tiene la culpa de recuperar los globos que volaron y quedaron en la copa de un árbol antes de la salida de la iglesia y que al final tuvieron final feliz en el mismo cielo.
Además, tiene la culpa de que lloviera en pleno septiembre en la playa, un mes donde no ves ni una gota de agua, pero que sin embargo resolvió los problemas de la locación para que los equipos de sonido no se fundieran por la lluvia. Tiene la culpa de no descuidar ni un solo detalle aunque el chofer del bus llevara a los invitados a una boda que no era suya, pero al final logró que la ceremonia iniciará solo con 10 minutos de retraso.
También tiene la culpa de cambiar la decoración de la iglesia de horrenda a maravillosa en menos de 10 minutos, porque la boda previa no estaba en el cronograma.
¡Vamos chicas, la vida no sería nada sin estas historias que te sacan mil sonrisas! Al mismo tiempo, nos demuestran lo valiosas que somos en el mundo de las bodas.
La Wedding Planner tuvo la culpa de arreglar el vestido de Vera Wang que la madre de la novia trajo cambiado por equivocación en un vuelo de 8 horas desde Nueva York.
La Wedding Planner tiene la culpa de no reservar el hotel para el top decorador que terminó en un motel, pero al final tuvieron dónde dormir.
Las bodas no son perfectas; sin embargo, la Wedding Planner sí tiene la culpa de que se vuelvan perfectas.
Esta es una recopilación de experiencias increíbles de varias Wedding Planners del país que convierten una circunstancia adversa en una oportunidad para demostrar su capacidad de resolución de conflictos en cuestión de segundos. The aftermath of the uproar caused by a luxury wedding held in the historic center of Quito, mostly due to the political undertones of the situation and the tone or lack of attention and care evident in the infamous letter sent by the Wedding Planner to the municipal authorities, shone a light on the responsibility that always falls upon these white fairies for a big or small event.
But make no mistake – we won’t mention the risks that this profession entails, but rather the underlying truth that afflicts the professionals in this sector. Inevitably, “it’s the wedding planner’s fault.”
The wedding planner is to blame for taking 10 minutes to remove a 3-day tent setup to please the bride’s everchanging preferences.
The wedding planner is to blame for ensuring that neither the guests nor the bride and groom find out that the famous DJ hired for the wedding didn’t arrive on time, and that she had to improvise with Spotify so that no one felt that the atmosphere was lacking while she collapsed of stress.
She’s to blame for not being able to get the balloons that drifted away and got stuck in the top of a tree outside of the church, and that fortunately floated up into the sky as the wedding party was coming out.
It’s also the wedding planner’s fault that it rained in the middle of September on the beach, a month when it hardly ever rains on the coast, but who nevertheless stopped the problem from getting out of hand by ensuring that the sound systems did not short due of the rain.
And let’s be honest - life would be nothing without these stories that make you smile! At the same time, they show us how valuable we are in the world of weddings.
It’s her fault that she didn’t overlook a single detail despite the fact that the bus driver took the guests to the wrong wedding, and that she managed to get them to the ceremony in time to start only 10 minutes late.
The wedding planner is also to blame for changing the church decor from horrendous to stunning in less than 10 minutes because the previous wedding was not on the schedule.
She was to blame for fixing the bride’s Vera Wang gown that the mother of the bride mistakenly brought on an 8-hour flight from New York.
The wedding planner is to blame for not booking the hotel for the top decorator who ended up in a motel, but who, in the end, had a place to sleep.
Weddings are not perfect; however, it’s the Wedding Planner’s fault for pulling them off perfectly.
This is a short list of some of the incredible experiences that various wedding planners in the country shared with us. They miraculously turned potentially disastrous circumstances into opportunities to demonstrate their ability to solve problems in a matter of seconds. Working as a wedding planner is not and will never be easy, as it requires endless patience and determination.
And let’s be honest - life would be nothing without these stories that make you smile! At the same time, they show us how valuable we are in the world of weddings. In the end, it’s the result that counts. And yes, the wedding planner is to blame.
Marcelo & Julia
Marcelo and Julia met serendipitously on a spring day 6 years ago at Tybee Island in Georgia. While they both attended university there they didn’t meet.
“Until a rogue soccer ball was kicked over to me on the beach. I sent the ball back into play and a very cute boy with long curly hair then invited me to join the match, I said yes, and that’s how it all started”.
2 years of dating in romantic Savannah, and 3 years of long distance (that was initially suppose to be ONLY 1 year at most). Marcelo was living in Ecuador and Julia was in NYC until she got a job offer in Paris. -”I asked Marcelo if he would move with me. He said yes and two weeks later at a small beach in Ecuador (Rio Chico) with just the two of us present, he proposed… with a ring he had bought 2 years before”
Julia said that Ecuador was always their idea for the perfect place to get married. There were many reasons but the first being Marcelo having a much larger family than Julia do so having it locally would be the best chance for everyone to attend.
The dress was designed over a pot of tea inside the 500 square foot apartment that Julia shared with her roommate Ashley Romasko. It took them an over all of 20 minutes to draw up the fantasy for her dream dress that would eventually come to life in unexpected ways. Her impeccable attention to detail and standards of quality then lead her to collect a small team of creatives in the industry to execute her vision.
