Different ways of making Homemade Ice Cream.

There are plenty of ways to make Homemade Ice Cream, it is easy to make and classy to serve. The best thing is that you can change recipes according to your taste and have the freedom to do experiments with the flavors.

The first step is the same for all ways, whatever you are going to select for Ice Cream making at home. Decide what you want to make and then put all Ingredients together, what you are going to use in your recipe and the next step is to make a mixture according to instructions. Make sure you have a container (a wide bowl) that we are going to use in the churning/freezing process further.

Methods of Making Homemade Ice Cream.

Making Ice Cream without an Ice Cream Maker is not so common method for making Ice Cream at home, because this method requires plenty of time, patience, and effort to make ice cream. But if you don’t have Ice Cream Maker then don't worry, you can still enjoy homemade Ice Cream by following this method.

Method-1: Using Hands:

The oldest method to make ice cream by hand, it requires quite lots of time, effort, and patience. In this method, we use our hands, Ice Cream container (any bowl), and freezer.

Now you have everything, ice cream mix, a wide bowl, and a freezer to freeze the ice cream.

Now the next step is to put the mixture into a wide bowl and place it in the fridge for 2 hours and check it after the first hour, how it is going. This mixture takes a long time to get chilled because we have used cooked ingredients in a mixture.

After 2 hours take the bowl out of the fridge and put it into the freezer for the next 30 minutes and then check after 30 minutes how much it is frozen. In the first 30 minutes, it will get hard from the edges but not from the center.

So now, beat the mixture till it turns to creamy, this will help ingredients to mix properly and taste will increase and then again put it back to the freezer for the next 30 minutes. Repeat the same process for around 3-4 times to get the best results.

After repeating the above steps 3-4 times, put the mixture into the freezer for the final time until it gets ready to serve. This can take a maximum of 30-40 minutes depending on the ingredients you have used in your mixture and also depends upon how you like 2/8

Serve the ice cream in Ice Cream cups, cones, or bowl and enjoy the best time with your friends and family.

Method-2: Using Rolling Technique with Rock Salt:

We hope you all learned about that technique in a science class it's a fun way to make Ice Cream using Ice and Rock salt.

It was the best activity we are doing during our summer break in childhood. For this technique, you need two empty food tins one big and another small like that the smaller one can easily fit into the bigger one or two plastic zipped bags same a smaller one and a bigger one.

Make an ice cream mixture and put into the smaller tin or zipped plastic bag whatever you have then seal a tin or zipped a bag and put it into the bigger one. Fill the crushed ice cubes and rock salt into the gap between containers or bags and the fun part comes here that was the best move we are enjoying in our childhood.

Roll the bag or food container around 20 minutes, it is like a game and the funny part is the fight with our siblings for that like all want to roll the container for fun. After 20 min you will get frozen Ice cream and smiling face around you.

Using Ice Cream Maker for making ice cream is the most common method as we want everything without doing much effort and in modern times we have machines for every task.

There are two types of Ice Cream makers are available in Market one you just plug in and it starts freezing ice cream as it churns and in another one with Bowl that has to be frozen for 24 hours in advance.

Different people are using different kinds of measurements and it changes according to situations like where you are living and what you are going to use. Here we are sharing main American measurements and their approximate metric equivalents that we used here on this website.

Liquid Ingredients: 1 cup = 250 ml. = 8 fluid ounces = ½ pint 1 ½ cups = 375 ml. = 12 fluid ounces = ¾ pint 2 cups = 500 ml. = 16 fluid ounces = 1 pint
