The University of Nevada, Reno's 2nd Annual PRESENTS
Sunday, April 16, 2023
Joe Crowley Student Union 4th Floor
On behalf of the conference planning committee, I welcome you to the University’s 2nd Annual Pre-Health Conference. This is the first time our office is collaborating with High Sierra AHEC, bringing a themed focus on nutrition and wellness into our program. We are pleased that you have joined us today. We have college representatives from various parts of the U.S., as well as representatives from our Armed Forces who are eager to meet with you and discuss opportunities with them
Because the future of our healthcare system depends on diversity, innovations in technology and student pedagogy, our keynote focuses on ensuring students to be mission-driven with outstanding core competencies. We hope this conference will also address your questions on how to become competitive applicants in your respective field.
Please accept our warmest welcome at the University of Nevada, Reno!
My name is Brooke Roylance and I am the President of the Pre-PA Society as well as the PrePharmacy Club Thank you for attending our 2nd annual Pre-Health Conference. My clubs, the other pre-healthcare clubs, and student advisors from the Pre-Professional Office are students just like you! We have planned this entire conference because we have such a strong passion for each of our respective fields, but we all agree that our health professions working together will leave a greater impact than being separated Throughout the conference today, I hope you learn more about your passions and how to succeed in them. Take today for your future self and to learn more about how you can make your own impact in the future of medicine
