OKAYOKAYLA
Hey there.
We’re stoked to be working with you and we’re honored that you’ve chosen us to partner with. Let’s take a moment to introduce who we are, what we do, and set the stage for our collaboration through mutual agreement. This is where we define the terms and expectations as we move forward together
At OKAYOKAYLA Inc, we offer a thoughtful, premium approach to product manufacturing. We strive to create partnerships where we can collaborate with your team to offer a comprehensive range of services to bring your project to life from start to finish
Owner-operated and led, our journey started with a desire to keep product development and production local, close to home. But as we grew, we took things a step further and got even more vertical. While LA will always be our home, our privately owned factory in Baja California, Mexico has become a big part of our story, where we now manufacture fully custom headwear, bags, and apparel. This expansion has only strengthened our commitment to controlling every aspect of the product journey and refining the process from start to finish.
It’s 2025. We believe in dignified labor, common-sense practices, and creating apparel and accessories that stand the test of time. We have no sales team Our social media pages are blank We have done practically no marketing (by practically we mean we've done two tradeshows). We have grown entirely through word-of-mouth referrals.
If you've found us, you're exactly where you need to be. Welcome to our world.
Sincerely,
Ben Cox Founder, Owner

BUT HERE’S THE DEAL.
HOW WE ACTUALLY WORK:
Concepting
Yes, we have templates. Yes, we have a design team. Yes, we can create mock ups and mood boards and product proposals. Please expect for these items to come at the cost of our time spent, and with a super simple agreement (below) not to shop our ideas or previous product images with alternate manufacturers. The terms for any virtual tools are pre-pay. Oh, and please do not ask us to remove our logo from IP What you do with the files once you have them is up to you.
Sampling
Lead times are based on numerous factors: are we developing a pattern for you, material availability, or lead time on any details that may be called for outside of our capabilites, to name a few. We typically say 2-3 weeks, out of USA or MX, and pre-production samples are 2.5x the price of your final production unit cost in addition to any work, labor, or materials pertinent to the making of your sample and/or production.
Sourcing
We love a good reference. Send us the most accurate information, images, inspiration, samples, etc. We will need all that good stuff before we venture out into the world in search of materials.
Bulk Production
See Sampling and add: Depending on the complexity of the design, our factory averages a 3 to 8 week lead time out of USA or MX.
Decorating
Full package is where it’s at. We can accept contract work but please, make it worth our time!
Shipping
We can not ship liquor. We do not want to ship liquor. That’s all.
Communication
We are operators of our own business. We’re on the factory floor, we’re in the warehouse, at the print machines, etc. We see your email, but often we are literally not in the right place to reply-just something to keep in mind.
OKAY, OKAY.
We love what we do, and we aim to work with people who share our dedication and respect for the process. We are highly intentional in our partnerships, and want to welcome you to our world.
