PROLOGUE

Florian Neubauer is known for his cookery at After Seven restaurant, Zermatt’s multi-award-winning restaurant He is the first chef in Europe to earn two Michelin stars at such a young age With one Michelin star and 17 Gault Millau points, Neubauer still spearheads Upper Valais gastronomy. At 2022, he decided to expand his vision about the stage of culinary with his very own "Sweet & Sour" journey.

BIO GRAPHY

Within a remarkably short period of time, Florian Neubauer rose to become the youngest chef in Europe with two Michelin stars to his name in his early 30s.

As well as being talented in the culinary arts, Neubauer is also a seasoned traveler and a big fan of great entertainment. After training to become a chef in the Black Forest in Germany, he set off around the world on a culinary journey of discovery, stopping off to work with famous chefs such as Heston Blumenthal in London and Tim Raue in Berlin. He also cooked in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and learned one thing above all: to see things from every perspective.

During the summer months, he still goes on long trips, always on search for new ingredients, markets, techniques, and perspectives. In winter he transforms these souvenirs into a unique culinary experience in Zermatt,.
