• Look at the jobs that match your interests and the training level you chose. Click on job titles to learn more about them.
• Try out different Job Zones to see how your choices change the job list.

What’s in this brochure?
This brochure lists jobs in Vermont that pay well. These jobs have a lot of openings in the next 10 years. Do you see jobs that match your interests? There are many more jobs in Vermont to choose from beyond those listed in the brochure.
Here’s what to look for:
• Median Wage – This is the mid-point wage for all people doing this job. Half the people earn more, and half earn less. New workers usually start below the median but can earn more with experience.
• 10-Year Projected Openings – Jobs with the most expected openings in Vermont are shown in bold.
• Minimum Education Needed – This shows what level of school or training you need to prepare for that job.
• Registered Apprenticeship – This means you can learn on the job while getting paid. Visit labor.vermont.gov/apprenticeship to learn more.
How do I explore jobs in Vermont?
