The Vermilion Community Art Club recently held a two-day advanced mixed media painting class for its members. The class took place on Friday, April 28 from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Members had the opportunity to learn and practice their painting techniques using acrylic paint, acrylic gels, acrylic inks, and Japanese paper. The class was taught by seasoned artist Justina Smith, who has been an artist for 23 years and has been teaching for 15 years. Smith is well-versed in different mediums, including acrylic and watercolour, Gouache, spray paint, paint marker, colour pencils, and ballpoint pen. She also has paintings in galleries all across
