DSA’s pay invoices, take complaints from the public, are faced with extremely graphic and traumatic materials, and sometimes face violence and abuse without any formal training to mitigate these issues. They are the first point of contact when you walk through the RCMP Detachments doors. The absence is being felt by Canadians who rely on their services, including victims of crime who need assistance, and the public who expect timely and efficient service from the RCMP.
