E-Mail: info@mannville.com store or the gas station. People are taking on further debt just to survive. The federal government’s current offer to Public Service Employees averages 2.06% - which when factoring in inflation and the rising cost of living is actually a wage cut. The wage proposal from the PSAC union is 4.5%, this works out to an increase of less than $12 a day, or $1.40 an hour. When the food inflation rate for basic groceries has been above 10% for nearly a year, and extra $100 a paycheque can make all the difference for our DSA’s who are struggling - which I believe is an entirely reasonable demand.

All applicants are thanked for their interest. However, only those receiving interviews will be contacted.

We work hard every day to ensure the safety and security of our community. We deserve to be compensated fairly for our efforts. It is crucial for the government to recognize this and take immediate steps to address this issue. As a Canadian, I believe that it is our collective responsibility to support the Public Service Employees who work tirelessly to keep our community safe. I urge the government to take action and provide the necessary support and resources to resolve this strike as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Jenna Pegg
