Alberta is one of the few places left in the world that remains rat free thanks to our Pest Control Officers! This Spring County PCOs will be performing rat checks at potential rat habitat sites within 6 miles of the AB/SK border. Farm yards and buildings, feed bins, and bale stacks are all checked for signs of rats.
No Spray Agreements are available to those ratepayers who don’t want herbicides applied to the municipal road right of ways adjacent to their property and agree to themselves control weeds and vegetation within the County ROW. Complete the No Spray Agreement before May 31 annually by filling out the form on the County website.
PROTECTIVE SERVICES:
Bylaw 19-07, Dog Control Bylaw has been rescinded. The County will no longer respond to complaints regarding dogs.
