St. Jerome’s 2019 Graduation Ceremony

The St. Jerome’s Graduating Class of 2019.

Congratulations and encouragement was shared as St. Jerome’s School held their graduation ceremony at the Vermilion Regional Centre on May 25. ‘You had to be there,’ was the theme of the event, and as graduates approached the stage their favourite memories and plans for the future were shared. Principal Allan Chase emceed the event, and Vice Principal Allan MacMillan sang a special song to the class. Congratulatory speeches were given from Mayor Caroline McAuley, deputy superintendant Dwayne Zarichny, School Board member Alan Rogan, and Guest Speaker Bryn Lewin. The 2019 Valedictorian was Ashley Corbiere. “We’re so proud of you for all that you have accomplished. Today we are sending our best and brightest off on a new journey. I encourage you to explore, learn, and see new things, remembering you

He encouraged the graduates to continue sharing their gifts and passions with other people. “When I came to St. Jerome’s these children were in Grade 2. Don’t take this accomplishment for granted.
