Clandonald 4-H Achievement Day

4-H members turned out and showed off their animals in the warm sunshine at the 2017 Clandonald 4-H Multi Club Achievement Day Show at the Clandonal Ag Grounds on May 27. T h i s y e a r ’s C h a m p i o n O v e r a l l Female and Grand Champion Cow/ Calf was awarded to Logan Garnier from Clandonald 4-H club, who won Grand Champion Heifer and Reserve with the same heifer last year. Garnier also won Reserve Champion Steer. The winner of this year ’s Grand Champion Steer went to Trey Nowasad, who also took home the best Home Grown Steer, and Reser ve Overall Female was won by Wyatt Jacula. Garnier said he was very confident from early on with how his cow and calf were progressing over the last year.

We lead the pair in the lead up to the show. I didn’t feed them anything special, just barley and hay,” said Garnier.
