Professional dance instruction for all ages Located in downtown Guelph at 128 Woolwich St., the Royal City School of Ballet and Theatre Jazz has offered professional instruction in ballet, pointe, modern jazz, and contemporary dance, for over 30 years. Certified teachers encourage students from ages two to adult in a non-competitive, caring atmosphere. The high quality dance education and training program promotes the technical, musical and artistic development of each student. Classes run from September to June; student placement and progress is determined by previous training, physical and artistic ability, personality and age. Whether for recreational purposes or for a career, the school offers a solid technical base. The fully certified and experienced teachers continue to update their skills and knowledge. Students have the opportunity to take yearly examinations through the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Located at 10 Speedvale Avenue East, Sealy Karate has been teaching martial arts to children and adults in Guelph for over 20 years.
