"I Am Jahmelia"

By Jahmelia Williams

I am Jahmelia, bright like the sun, With a heart full of love and a smile full of fun.

I laugh, I learn, I dance, I play, And make a little magic every day

I believe in dreams, both big and small, I know I can rise, I won't fear the fall With every step, I grow so strong, I sing my story like a song

I help my family, I love my friends, I’m kind to all from start to end

The world is mine to care and share, With gentle hands and love to spare.

So when you see me, don’t forget I’m not done shining yet!

I am Jahmelia, watch me glow, There's so much more I’m yet to show!

---

With her radiant energy and love for words, Jahmelia Williams is a name to remember Whether it's on stage, in the classroom, or through the pages of her poems, she's already proving that the future of Jamaica's creative arts is in bright and capable hands
