Our TMT rebars are manufactured in state-of-the art automated facilities adhering to the highest standards of quality. Using German technology, each rebar is produced in an eco-friendly process, with a strong focus on energy conservation.

Not your average TMT

Using high quality virgin iron ore, each rebar passes through various controlled stages which give the TMT better weldability, homogeneity and ductility. This results in higher concrete grip, increased durability and longer shelf life.

Features

Manufacturing Process

Our VRKP 500 Dual Ribbed TMT rebars are manufactured in state-of-the-art computerised rolling mills

STAGE 1 • Virgin iron ore is purchased through government routed auctions • Thorough quality check of the raw material for impurities • Iron ore is processed and reduced to sponge iron • The sponge iron is quality checked and segregated as per grade

STAGE 2 • The sponge iron is converted to high quality billets in steel melting furnaces • Continuous casting is performed and finally each billet is tested for quality • The billets are directly fed to produce TMT rebars • Each rebar is cut and shaped into different lengths for further processing

STAGE 3 • Each billet of 100 x100 mm is cut into the desired TMT rebar size through a comprehensive reduction process • All TMT rebars are passed through a quenching process • All size rebars are checked for quality

STAGE 4 • Rebars are stacked for dispatch • Customised for consumer consumption
