The inauguration started with an opening prayer by Chaplain, Mr. Paul Ravikumar, and the bible reading by Mr. Ashok Karunakaran. Dr. Ronald Carey, Associate Head, Pharmacy Services, welcomed the dignitaries and the pharmacists with a brief note on the significant role of pharmacists in healthcare system. Dr. J.V. Peter, Director, CMC, released the badge, posters and greeting cards for distribution to the pharmacists and appreciated the quality work by the pharmacists in the face of an ever-increasing number of patients in our hospital. Dr. Ebor Jacob, Deputy Medical Superintendent distributed prizes to the winners of “Quiz Contest”held on 22nd September to commemorate the Pharmacist Day. The pharmacists representing

'S' pharmacy, Main Pharmacy and MHC pharmacy won 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
