El Salvador is uncommon territory when it comes to growing cocoa beans. But what small quantities it does produce are unique, very exclusive and highly prized.

Hacienda San Jose Real de la Carrera cocoa is an aromatic, addictive dark chocolate with complex nutty, fruity and floral notes.

A characterful, dynamic aromatic chocolate with a woody tobacco-like aroma. It starts strongly with a nutty roasted profile, giving way to the gentle acidity of cherries and plums. The Okapi Cooperative has created a singular taste profile exclusively for Veliche™. An intense herbaceous dark chocolate, with flavours of spices & dried fruits.

A powerfully dynamic chocolate, starting with an intense cocoa flavour, with roasted, earthy, tobacco notes and a good clean bitterness. Moving to suggestions of black pepper, delicate orange, raisin and dried fruit flavours, it evolves beautifully into a herbal finish, with a quiet farewell of honeylike sweetness.
