MALE INFERTILITY
Male infertility refers to the inability of a man to contribute to a successful pregnancy. It is diagnosed when a man is unable to produce sufficient healthy sperm or when his sperm is not able to fertilize a woman's egg. This can be caused by a variety of factors such as low sperm count, poor sperm motility (movement), abnormal sperm shape or size, hormonal imbalances, genetic abnormalities, infections, or physical blockages that prevent the release of sperm during ejaculation. Male infertility can be temporary or permanent and can affect a man's ability to father a child. It is a common problem that affects about 1 in 20 men.
