Welcome to the Rustic Rodeo!
The big night is here. We have been so looking forward to this evening of fun, fundraising, and friend-raising all in the Villa spirit of Goal #4, the building of community, here at our precious school. Boots have been polished, Stetson hats are in place, and western gear abounds. We are ready to corral the generosity and spirit of our amazing Villa community, all for the sake of our students of today and countless tomorrows.
This year’s Bonne Chance Auction has all the elements for success, with all of you at the center of the action. Our sponsors and auction team have set the stage for a great night. We thank you again and anew for your energy and support and for your devotion to our Sacred Heart mission.
We are grateful!
Howdy and a warm welcome to the 52nd Annual Bonne Chance Auction Rustic Rodeo! It’ s a pleasure to be gathered here tonight, celebrating the remarkable Sacred Heart spirit that defines Villa.
Villa is more than just a school; it’s a haven where dedicated teachers, gifted students, and loving families come together to create an exceptional educational experience. Tonight, we embark on a journey to support our children and contribute to the future success of our beloved school.
Your presence and generosity make this event truly outstanding. We invite you to pay special attention to tonight’s Children’s Challenge, where we ask you to raise your paddles and make a gift that will benefit several aspects of our community. This year’s challenge will support the continued growth of our Endowment, as well as the strength of the Science curriculum across all grade levels. The Children’s Challenge is an opportunity to make a tangible and immediate impact on the lives of our students, while ensuring the long-term success of our students and our school. Your support will contribute to their educational journeys, creating opportunities and experiences that will shape their futures.
So, grab your hats because tonight is not just about fundraising, it’s about tipping our hats to the incredible community that makes Villa extraordinary.

Each year at the Bonne Chance Auction, we invite our entire community to come together to celebrate Goal 4: the building of community as a Christian value and to support Goal 2: a deep respect for intellectual values by participating in the Children’s Challenge.
The Children’s Challenge makes a difference in the lives of our students and the life of our School. With the generosity of our attendees and donors, we advance our Sacred Heart mission through both desired and needed projects such as academic enrichment, endowment strength, and capital improvements.
, The Saints Endowed Fund supports all aspects of our educational experience from academic programming and professional development to scholarships and financial aid. This Fund promotes fiscal strength and sustainability, and it is invested within the endowment portfolio providing Head of School Dr. Dawn Nichols and the Board of Trustees greater flexibility in short and long-term planning.
Also this year, we are placing an emphasis on the continued excellence of our Science curriculum. This encompasses student and faculty resources, classroom and student learning materials, hands-on experiential programming, and professional development for grades JK3 through Grade 12. Vertical alignment is integral to our Sacred Heart education, and our faculty partner closely to provide cross-curricular learning environments.
Your gift ensures that the transformative educational experience Villa Duchesne offers continues to thrive. Please give in support of your students through The Saints Endowed Fund promoting opportunities and experiences that will shape their future.
Ensure Villa’s today and tomorrow are stronger than ever!
