Neck brace connection For enhanced safety Neck brace connection points Wearing a neck brace has been proven to significantly reduce neck injuries by protecting the cervical vertebrae of the spine against the force of an impact.
The neck brace design still allows the rider to wear a wind collar or balaclava underneath the neck brace, and it also allows for the use ofa hydration bag without interference.
In the past, neck braces needed to be attached to riders’ bodies directly, but REV’IT! engineers have come up with a solution to easily connect this essential piece of protective equipment directly to the jacket. By integrating special loops into the jacket, we’ve allowed the neck brace to attach easily and securely. Whether during normal riding conditions or in the event of a fall or crash, the loop ensures the neck brace stays firmly in place.
The new connection system is compatible with both Leatt® and MOVEO® neck braces. In the case of the MOVEO® option, riders can conveniently attach the brace to a jacket, and then leave it connected while taking it on and off. Both neck braces are very lightweight and comfortable to wear.
