MOTOGP 2018 RECAP

LOOKING BACK What a year it has been for our class of 2018. Returning to a lineup of riders across all classes, we’ve experienced highs and lows with our riders in what was one of the most competitive, battle-heavy seasons in recent history.

THE REV’IT! CL ASS OF 2018

JOURNAL

015

MOTOGP 2018 was a strong season for both of our riders, Danilo Petrucci and Álvaro Bautista. The latter jumped the gun on the former, taking the honors of being the first REV’IT! rider to sport the Factory Ducati colors, substituting for Jorge Lorenzo in Australia. Danilo wasn’t far behind, as he got promoted to the Factory Ducati MotoGP squad - full-time - for 2019, while Álvaro becomes his colleague, albeit in the FIM World Superbikes Championship next year. Enjoy the flashback, including the stunning one-off Lamborghini livery that Danilo showed in Mugello.

MOTO2 Pushing the development for the brand new NTS chassis, Steven Odendaal and Joe Roberts often found themselves close together on the track. Sporting special uniforms at times - both at Joe’s home race in the US as well as in Japan for NTS - our Moto2 REV’IT! riders managed to surpass expectations by closing the gap to the front, as well as scoring points on multiple occasions before the entire class switches to the Triumph engine. Enjoy a little look back at the RW Racing guys.

MOTO3 Jaume Masiá and Makar Yurchenko both started as class rookies, but quickly found themselves inside the points and fighting at the sharp end of the pack. Makar was outside of the paddock for some time before returning in Malaysia, switching teams and bikes while still showing progress. Both riders will return on the grid as regulars for 2019, but we’ll take one last look at 2018 first.

MOTOE High octane yet zero emission: MotoE has arrived! The series will experience its first season as a support class in 2019, but prior to that a select group of riders got a taste of what’s to come. Long time REV’IT! rider, Randy de Puniet, was among the lucky ones, putting the Energica bike through its paces at his home track in Le Mans… and of course, with a suit to match. Have a look back at what the future holds for us before we look ahead at the inaugural MotoE season in 2019. RE AD FULL ARTICLE

Never competing at either Moto3 or Moto2, working his way up from the European Superstock series and being one of the tallest riders on a grid where every gram counts. You wouldn’t necessarily expect to make it to MotoGP with a CV like this, but Danilo proved critics wrong by not only becoming a fixed value on the grid for many years, but taking it to the top: becoming a factory Ducati rider!

STEVEN ODENDAAL NTS RW R ACING GP

The MotoGP paddock can be a tough environment, where young riders either make it or break it. Riders who competed at the top end of their national championships suddenly find themselves in a field full of the best riders from around the world racing each other. When you’re used to winning, not being able to bring it home in the points can break morale. Steven Odendaal shows that there are ways to bounce back, re-entering the Moto2 world championship last year after a five-years absence. And after raising more than a few eyebrows in 2018, he will start 2019 with a mission.

AUGUSTO FERNANDEZ P O N S H P4 0 A new REV’IT! recruit for 2019 and one with a promising future. Landing yourself a permanent spot inside the MotoGP paddock isn’t easy, and typically, it’s a well-paved path from the Moto3 Junior World Championship. But those who manage to make their way through a different route are often the riders with a story behind them. As is the case with Augusto.

BO BENDSNEYDER NTS RW R ACING GP

Bo and ourselves speak the same language, and not just because we’re both Dutch by origin. A rider who sees opportunities in challenges, “Bad Boy” Bo has experienced a steep learning curve in which he often left the competition behind before quickly taking it to the next level. For 2019, that means jumping on a new adventure: a new chassis, new engine and new team. And a new suit, of course.

JAUME MASIÀ B E S T E R C A P I TA L D U B A I

Crowned “Rookie of the Year” in 2018, Jaume is determined to manifest himself even more in the front group in 2019, and with all the right ingredients at his disposal. Sticking with the same team with whom he qualified on the front row of the grid three times, and with whom he recorded two fastest laps of the race. And he’s definitely got a lot more in store.

ÁLVARO BAUTISTA A R U B A . I T F A C T O R Y D U C AT I It’s hard to believe that a decade has already gone by. But that’s the case with working with Álvaro Bautista and we’ll be starting a new chapter together. In case of a sudden downpour, the detachable and waterproof hydratex®|G-liner will block out any wind or water. The water-resistant pockets will also protect your belongings from any unwanted moisture.

When the sun is burning hot and the temperature rises, just open the VCS|panels on the front of the jacket to direct more air toward your body. On top of that, the VCS|zippers on the lower arms and legs can be opened to direct more airflow to your arms and legs.

Additionally, we added integrated multiple panels of reflection in the design of the outfit which will keep you more visible in bad weather or darkness. When the temperature plummets, or you’re climbing in altitude, the detachable thermal liner will keep you warm and comfortable.

HOW DOES IT WORK

DYNAMIC SUPPORT FRAME. REV’IT!|DSF

THE 3 MAIN COMPONENTS

The REV’IT!|DSF creates a dynamic connection between the Heel Cup and Calf Support, offering unsurpassed freedom of movement to the ankle in the most important directions; forwards (dorsi flexion), backwards (plantar flexion) and to the sides (inversion and eversion). This allows you to ride your bike without the limitations of traditional MX boots.

The solution to reaching the next level of protection without sacrificing next-level rider comfort was the development of the Dynamic Support Frame (DSF). The REV’IT!|DSF prevents hyper extension of the tendons and muscles. The three key components work together as one system, allowing you to ride hard in any terrain without worrying about your safety.

01. C ALF SUPPORT:

To allow further flexibility of the ankle, the connection points at the ankle are able to slide up and down independently from one another by about 4 degrees. This is known as ‘canting,’ which provides just that extra freedom of movement while riding, but also when walking around in the Expedition H2O boots.

RE AD FULL ARTICLE

Offering support to the calf by closing the Boa® lace closure.

02. HEEL CUP: Provides protection to the ankles and connects to the calf support at the ankle pivot points.

03. S TABILITY FRAME: Allows the hydratex®|Sphere construction to be applied to the boot and provides stiffness to the sole, which considerably helps reduce fatigue when standing on the foot pegs.

SEESOFT™PROTECTION AT SHIN AND TONGUE

THE BOA® CLOSURE PERFECTION EVERY TIME

REV’IT! engineered the SEESOFT™ foam with the goal of creating a low-profile, flexible and breathable protector with the highest, defensive values. It was a success. The result is a non-distracting, pliable foam that can absorb multiple impacts without compromising comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement. The highly impact-resistant blend of Nitrile and Polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and remains comfortable over time.

The unique Boa® closure system facilitates a perfect fit, extremely fast operation and contributes to the overall lightweight characteristics of the Expedition boot. Place the foot in the shoe, push the knob to engage, turn it for the proper adjustment and pull up on the knob for a quick release. Once locked in place, the Boa® reels and laces stay that way. Made from aircraft-grade stainless steel, Boa® laces are stronger per gram than tank armor.

HYDRATEX®|SPHERE WATERPROOFING & BREATHABILITY

VIBRAM® APEX SOLE EXTREME COMFORT

By incorporating the laminated hydratex®|Sphere membrane in an adventure riding boot, the Expedition H2O sets a new standard in the industry.

The Vibram® Apex Sole provides grip, stability and control, and the added multi-density EVA layer absorbs shock. That’s all while the anatomic footbed makes the boot extremely comfortable.

GROSSGLOCKNER HIGH ALPINE ROAD After snow cut their trip short in 2010, Motorcycle Diaries returned to the Grossglockner high alpine road for another go. And after 8 years, they finally discovered why the road is famous among global riders.

THE INFAMOUS MOUNTAIN “It’s strange that a mountain you don’t see most of the time becomes so well known that people all over the world are familiar with its name. And by only mentioning its name, you see sparkles in the eyes of car/bike aficionados. We admit. It wasn’t until a while ago that we too found out about this road; as soon as we arrived at the bottom toll gate, we knew we were in for something special. By turn 6 we were completely in awe.” SNOWED OUT “Unfortunately, on that last day of August 2010, turn 15 surprised us with early snow so we rushed down to the south gate without seeing the full road. However, there was a promise that we would be back. It took us till 2018 to return; this time we spent almost a week

between the tollgates, becoming close friends with the hairpins, and all the corners in between. And in those 5 days, the Grossglockner High Alpine road etched itself into our hearts.” “The Grossglockner road counts 36 hairpins. That is what most people will remember, but the many ‘nameless’ corners in between have left a bigger mark on us than we could imagine. Like the blanks between the words in a book or the silence between the words. I was taught to read between the lines. Then you will understand. EARLE MOTORS ALEX EARLE

THE ALASKAN Professional transportation designer Alex Earle is no stranger to creating vehicles with focused intent. When not designing cars for major European automobile manufacturers, he is penning and executing beautiful yet purposeful bespoke motorcycles.

#REVITRIDER

JOURNAL

Tell us about the Alaskan… where did the concept start? Back in 2014, I was responsible for the original Ducati Desert Sled concept. It was very much inspired by the early California desert racing scene and I was very proud of the bike. When it finally reached the public, I purchased one and set about making my personal vision of the platform. I grew up backpacking and cycling in the Intermountain West and wanted a motorcycle that would support me in those environments. The improvements Ducati had made to the suspension and frame allowed me to focus on the range, protection, comfort, and most crucially, the wheel package. Alaska would be the proving grounds. What was your creative process for the Alaskan? Any specific challenges stick out in your mind? Normally I would do several rounds of sketching before producing a scale model for scanning. From those, I would create molds. For the Alaskan, I went medieval and hand-formed the tank/seat/tail section, etc. all by hand. There was a lot of foam and Bondo formed directly on the bike with a Surform, sandpaper, my bare hands, my blood and sweat! When the concept is so fully formed, all design decisions are very clear.

047

At that point, it was more of an ergonomics exercise, which was great because I could add or subtract volume while directly sitting on the bike to see how it felt. It was all very satisfying. The biggest challenge is having the where-with-all and knowing when to stop shaving and cutting! With more time and resources, I probably could have kept going and going. How was riding the bike through Alaska? Riding the bike in Alaska was truly fantastic. After all the energy, expense, late nights, maniacal shuttling of parts up and down the coast and obsessive scrutiny of all of details major or minor, the bike handily exceeded my performance expectations. With only a few mechanical issues to deal with, our only concerns were the weather, how deep are the water crossings were…and not running out of beer. This is where our REV’IT! gear really proved its worth. The GORE-TEX® waterproofing and venting was so effective that I don’t recall a single episode of discomfort. WATCH MOVIE

WHERE THE ROAD ENDS For adventure riders in the know, the mere mention of the Darien Gap can make the heart race: It’s a storied no-man’s land that sits between two continents, brimming with dangers, both nature-made and human.

WAYNE MITCHEL #REVITRIDER

THE DARIEN GAP IN ONE CONTINUOUS EXPEDITION

U.S.A

MEXICO

VENTURING OFF THE MAP THE DARIEN GAP In 2017, a team of U.S. military veterans set out to ride motorcycles from the Arctic Circle to the tip of South America, crossing the infamous Darien Gap in the process. Here’s the full story, narrated by Team Leader, Wayne Mitchell. “THAT PLACE AT THE EDGE OF THE MAP” The Darien Gap is a 100-mile stretch of untamed jungle that separates Panama from Colombia. It is the only break in the Pan-American Highway from Alaska to Argentina. There are no roads or bridges, only a muddy foot path winding through dense jungle of vines, spiders, snakes and all manner of human dangers framed against the backdrop of jagged, densely covered mountain peaks. By most standards, it’s impassable by motorcycles or cars. The Darien is one of those places at the edge of the map. If you look at a map of Colombia, it’s in the northwest corner with little detail; it trails off with only a faint reference to the Atrato Swamp, and Panama beyond. If you are looking at a map of Panama, you may only see a large section marked “Darien National Park.” It’s home to the indigenous Kuna Indians, and few others need travel there. It was that place at the edge of the map with so few details that occupied my thoughts for nearly 20 years. IDIOTS AND FOOLS “Only an idiot or a fool would ride a motorcycle up here,” the voice over the radio said clearly, along with some other less-than-flattering comments. The day before, word had gotten out that a group of veterans were riding motorcycles from Alaska to Argentina on the Dalton Highway. The few truckers we had passed were fairly positive to indifferent. Now, as we departed the warmth of Coldfoot Camp and pushed our way down a recently snow covered road toward the Yukon River, the greetings we received were far from encouraging. “What kind of a**hole rides a motorcycle in winter up here?” one trucker asked, to which our only reply could be name, rank and serial number. That pattern continued on for the next two days as we inched our way further south toward Fairbanks.

Despite our heading in the right direction, the weather got worse, and by the time we reached the relative civilization of Fairbanks, we found ourselves in a full-blown snowstorm that lasted two days. We took the time to rest up and work on electrical issues while the town dug itself out.

THE DARIEN GAP

BRAZIL

FACING THE MONSTER The road from Panama City to Yaviza was recently paved and sealed. It smelled like fresh asphalt, and the smell was further intensified by the 100-plus degree heat and direct sun. The miles melted quickly, and we found ourselves in the small riverside town. The road abruptly ends at a narrow foot bridge that crosses the river. On the far side, a dirt path disappears into the vast green jungle that continues uninterrupted for 100 miles to the South. After the initial confusion of our arrival, we were escorted into a heavily fortified jungle compound. We were made to park our bikes and were not allowed to film or take photos. We were seated outside in the sun and told to wait for the battalion commander. After what seemed like an hour, his assistant came out to tell us we could not go into the jungle. Our French interpreter, Michel, insisted that this was just a tactic to see how committed we were. After another 30 minutes, the commander emerged from the only air-conditioned room in the place, shook our hands and wanted photos. He informed us that we could go, and that he would send an armed platoon of rangers with us, but only to the border. “Into Colombia,” he warned, “you go alone. You are on your own.” The commander’s warning left us with little to be joyous about. We had crossed Alaska and Canada in the dead of winter just to reach this point, at this time. MAGIC MESH Already enjoyed as a summer product in its original form, we’ve received countless requests for an even more summer-oriented version. What did we do about it? We responded, of course! Take a look at the Tracer Air, which looks just as cool but feels even cooler. The more technical a material gets, the harder it is to disguise it as a casual wear garment. But thanks to extensive development, the PWR|mesh used in the Tracer Air looks like streetwear fashion material. Looks like it, but isn’t. This material is known for two things: allowing maximum airflow while offering extreme abrasion resistance. At the positions known as “high impact risk zones” the shoulders and elbows - we even added our in-house developed PWR|shield knit for extra reinforcement.

WHATEVER YOU RIDE, WE HAVE THE URBAN GLOVES TO MATCH. CHOOSE BETWEEN LEATHER OR TEXTILE OR A MIX OF BOTH.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING SPECIAL

FRICTION OVERSHIRT COMBINES THE OLD WITH THE NEW, AND WITH AN INTERESTING TWIST AS WELL. Is it an overshirt? Is it a jacket? We’ll let you decide what it is, but let us take the liberty to explain to you a bit about its background. Building on the popularity of our overshirts, we decided to mix it up a little. Instead of taking denim or canvas material, the Friction is carried out in full leather. But instead of taking the easy route, we decided to take a technical approach to an otherwise qualified-astraditional material. Extremely soft, yet highly abrasion resistant goat skin leather found its way onto our designers’ tables; receiving a camouflage print on the inside of the leather. Yes, the inside, meaning what you are looking at is the goatskin turned inside out. As a result, this tailored overshirt sports a soft, suede-like look and feel while bringing something completely new to the game in terms of style. RE AD FULL ARTICLE

THE PUNKS PEAK PREMIERE First up was the Punks Peak drag race, and our hopes for decent weather got answered on Thursday. We joined the Yamaha crew and their six official builders on a road trip to the infamous Mount Jaizkibel, just across the border. Following a string of six professional builders on their custom-built “Back to the Future” Yamaha XSR700s, all wearing a personalized version of our Tracer overshirt, we already liked the view from the moment we started our journey.

THE PUNKS PEAK DRAG STRIP

As a big bonus, we got treated to incredible views following the coastal roads into Spain. This wasn’t our first rodeo by any stretch, but you couldn’t help but be amazed every time you make the trip up to the starting grid of the Punks Peak race. For those not familiar with it, we’ll try to explain. The Punks Peak drag strip is separated from sheep-filled fields by nothing more than barbed wire (that gives the impression it has been there a while), and contrary to regular drag strips, participants of the Punks Peak race face two turns on their way to the finish line.

With many of our friends competing, we couldn’t help but cheer for the combined effort of Workhorse Speedshop’s XSR700 sprinter, built by our ambassador Brice Hennebert and ridden by yet another REV’IT! ambassador Sébastien “Seb” Lorentz -normally busy building his own bikes under the Lucky Cat Garage flag - properly suited-up in our Nova one-piece suit. All show and go, the nimble, little stump-nosed twin breathes nitro for breakfast on its way to the finish flag. Knowing all too well what it’s like to ride your mates pride and joy - “don’t bin it!”- we were very pleased to still see the blue pocket rocket take second, although Seb clearly wanted the win.

With the dust settled after the finale, we took the same route back to Biarritz; this time keeping the sea on the left on our way back to the venue. RE AD FULL ARTICLE

THE EL ROLLO FLAT TRACK Saturdays are spent sideways at Wheels & Waves thanks to the annual El Rollo Flat Track race. Now, so whatever the alternative was, we were confident that they had it covered. Besides, we were halfway to Biarritz and covered in sunshine. How bad could it be? The crowd favorite, La Copita, moped race is mixed with vintage and modern classes together making up for a great day of racing, with the Super Hooligans class rounding it up with the bigger displacement bikes. Fear clearly has no grip on the latter grid of riders, something that becomes clear the moment you see the rear-wheel of a seemingly stock Harley-Davidson Sportster aim for the haybales while fighting off a pack of hungry Indians (the bikes) in close pursuit. The Lasarte Oria Hippodrome gets treated to a serious horsepower boost once a year -normally home to horse races- so, the participants at El Rollo make sure it counts.

ART GALLERY After a high octane-filled day between the barbed wire, the organization assembled the perfect way too cool down and let adrenaline levels return to normal: The Art Gallery. A combination of various art genres - including the most artsy motorcycles found a spot on the wall or the floor of an industrial building just across the border in Spain.

THE ONE MOTO SHOW 2019 P O R T L A N D - U.S. A

LIFE OF THE PARTY Featuring over 200 unique, classic and rare motorcycles from all over the world, Portland overflows with custom bikes every February. Gathered by invite-only from ringleader, Thor Drake of See See Motorcycles, The One Show has gained a notoriety that transcends a simple exhibit of bespoke bikes.

OIL IN THE BLOOD As the One Show has grown tremendously over the past 10 years, so has custom motorcycle culture on a global scale. Oil In The Blood, a feature documentary film, is both a chronicle of the growth of the world builder scene, as well as a spotlight of where the community is headed. Gareth Maxwell Roberts, who not only directs the film but was also one of the originators of UK custom stalwarts, the Bike Shed MC, takes audiences on a ride through the history of this phenomenon. Roberts also puts the craft, talent and personalities under a magnifying glass of those who have made this culture so provocative in this highly anticipated film. RE AD FULL ARTICLE

HOW OUR JEANS CAME TO LIFE Our first motorcycle jeans collection saw the light back in 2012. No, we weren’t the first to offer motorcycle jeans, but being dedicated to challenging the status quo, we certainly decided we were going to do things differently. And for our first ever jeans collection, we set ourselves two lofty goals: creating the most fashionable motorcycle jeans while bringing a significant contribution in terms of safety to the table, for both men and women. RE AD FULL ARTICLE

WORKING FROM THE OUTSIDE IN

KEEP IT TOGETHER

In order to achieve our ambitions, we extensively worked on developing materials that are strong but don’t stand in the way of creating a pair of jeans that look - and feel - like your everyday denim; a principle that follows our Tailored Technology design philosophy.

INVISIBLE INNOVATION

These seams will hold under even the most extreme stress, and by using safety stitching technology on areas with an increased risk of impact, tearing of seams is prevented.

CORDURA® DENIM

Another important piece of the puzzle that creates the ultimate motorcycle jeans collection is protection. Enter stage left: SEESMART™. You will find these unique, thin, highly protective, CE-rated protectors across our entire lineup. You don’t see them, you can barely feel them – some don’t feel them at all, but boy do they make a difference in case your ride doesn’t go as planned. Take a closer look and find out the facts behind the magic. DOUBLE LAYERED PWR | SHIELD KNIT

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and it makes no sense to use the strongest materials and the optimal protectors if you can’t keep it all together. Therefore, all our jeans are constructed using PWR|yarn and the triple needle stitching technique.

Developed together with Cordura® - known for their highly abrasion-resistant textile fibers - Cordura® denim came to life. Mixing Cordura® fibers with high-quality denim, we managed to create an extremely abrasion-resistant outer shell material with the right look and feel. And thanks to blending in a COOLMAX® element, moisture is wicked away to keep you comfortable. But wait, there’s more…

POLYCOTTON TWILL LINING

PWR|SHIELD Despite the already extremely strong characteristics of Cordura® denim, we developed our renowned PWR|shield knit. We then added it to the high impact risk zones of our jeans – at the knees and seat. A thin layer of PWR|shield makes a world of difference. When combined with Cordura® denim, it even surpasses leather in terms of abrasion resistance.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK When the 2018 global ride HQ was set as New York City, New York, we decided to put our best foot forward to welcome nearly 1,000 DGR riders to our North American headquarters’ hometown, and to ride the iconic Brooklyn Bridge with some of our favorite industry friends. Read on to experience the day from our eyes, and from the eyes of our dapper moto-pals!

THE RIDE: ICONIC NYC At 10:30, ride organizers took over the mic to rally hundreds of participants to the ride start point under the purple girders of Manhattan’s FDR Drive. It took nearly ten minutes to coordinate all the bikes leaving Peck Slip Plaza, but the skies were perfectly sunny and spirits were high. Finally, riders were off to a thunderous start. The New York Police Department escorted the ride across the Brooklyn Bridge and through the north section of the borough to the 59th Street Bridge in

Queens, where they crossed back into Manhattan and through the changing leaves of Central Park to the Natural History Museum for a massive group photo. The ride doubled back down the FDR Drive along the East River, and finally back to Peck Slip Plaza, to the congratulatory sound of a jazz band and the cheers of local sponsors and vendors. CHALLENGING THE STATUS QUO We do things a little differently when we start up our product development trajectory, but it all begins with aiming high. We’re known for challenging the status quo, and we like to live up to that expectation. Let us take you on our journey that resulted in a family of REV’IT! protectors, tailor-made for the way you use your motorcycle.

PROTECTION

MULTIPLE IMPACT-READY WITHOUT SACRIFICING COMFORT.

EXCEEDING THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PROTECTION, VENTILATION AND COMFORT.

THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF FLEXIBILITY YET 100% MOTORCYCLE-READY.

01. The time when motorcycle protectors were merely shock absorbers ended for us the day we started developing the first ever REV’IT! protector. In our case: SEESOFT™. Rather than letting the material do all the work, our SEESOFT™ protectors work intelligently by combining the characteristics of the material with a smart construction.

02.

03.

Our R&D team certainly got a feel for developing impact protectors, something they demonstrated with the industry-rocking SEEFLEX™ family of limb protectors. Not a box was left unticked when looking at it from a CE approval point of view. But SEEFLEX™ offers so much more than just complying with the highest standard.

More than just a chip off the old block, SEESMART™ does share its DNA with the SEEFLEX™ family. Made from the same SEEFLEX2925 material, these protectors are developed to serve the safety-conscious, fashionable urbanite. The hexagonal construction takes care of impact energy in a smart way.

VALIDATING REAL-WORLD RESULTS

In an unassuming room - walls painted white, florescent lights overhead, computers decorating workstations – stands a large dresser. In this large dresser hangs a jacket. It’s a jacket that confirms the validity of using an in-house testing lab. A lab that – as sterile as it might look – yields real-world results in terms of motorcycle clothing durability, strength and safety. What makes this jacket so special? After all, it has seen better days. It’s tattered. Ripped to shreds in some areas, and unscathed in others. Though the thank-you note written in Spanish, in permanent marker, on the bottom left corner speaks volumes.

The rider who was wearing this jacket was unfortunately in an accident. They slid across the pavement, suffered no injuries, and walked away, body in-tact and a smile on their face. They then sent his jacket back to REV’IT! to say “gracias” for saving their skin. Looking at the jacket, it did exactly what it was supposed to do: it protected the rider. The lining was still perfectly in place, though the outer shell suffered noticeable damage. The stationary protection at the elbows and shoulders didn’t move an inch, though it had some war wounds. In the end, the jacket respectively won the battle against the unyielding pavement.

L ABARTORY

NO LUCK, JUST SCIENCE The lab techs at REV’IT! then replicated the type of slide that occurred with their in-house equipment and got almost identical results. We joke that no luck is involved when predicting how the materials used in motorcycle clothing react in certain situations. It’s science. This science is invaluable to creating some of the most durable, strongest and safest riding gear out there.

RTC on a screen is nothing like the real deal. We encourage you to keep an eye out on our communication channels, because we’re happy to invite a select group of REV’IT! enthusiasts to come and have a look at our REV’IT! Racing Technology Center on racetracks around Europe.and the REV’IT! RTC makes this more visible to the outside world.
