Commencing on Site

We are pleased to announce that earthworks will be commencing on-site at Vital Bendigo in March subject to Council sign off.

This is an exciting and significant milestone as we transition into the development of the community after many years of planning and design. Once earthworks commence, roads, curbing and services will rapidly follow.

It is a significant step towards the construction of Stage 1 homes and welcoming our first residents later this year.

Stage 3 Release

Stage 2 at Vital Bendigo is nearly sold out and as such we will be releasing new lots in Stage 3 in early March 2023.

The TerracesNew Home Designs

A special Stage 3 release may also feature smaller affordable terrace style homes.

We have had numerous enquiries from single people looking for a home suited to their lifestyle and budget.

We are now designing one bedroom with study or second bedroom designs including two toilets, alfresco deck, good sized yard and single under cover parking.

These will be innovative and affordable homes well suited to residents living alone who would still love to be part of a vibrant Vital Community.

We encourage interested buyers to enquire immediately.

Regional Home Prices Continue to Shine

The Bendigo Advertiser reported in January 2023, that the residential property market seems to be taking a breather and has returned to a more normal cycle in metro areas.

However, the regions are still showing great resilience as the price of homes continues to be buoyant. Bendigo’s median home price was $690,000 – up $55,000 over the 12 months to December 2022.

It’s great to know that an average price of a home at Vital Communities is currently only $480,000 – that’s up to $200,000 that you could potentially unlock for your future lifestyle.

The rising cost of living

The rising cost of living has become a regular headline and a daily conversation. Right sizing to a land lease community could be the answer –brand new affordable homes with no rates and no stamp duty and money in the bank.

At Vital Communities we are determined to make a better lifestyle affordable. Architecturally designed, low maintenance homes that combine clever use of space with true efficiency - a smart home that doesn’t cost as much to heat and cool in a safe secure community.

Managing Your Funds When Selling and Buying

We continue to want to help you understand how the government allows you to invest funds when you’ve sold your home and are waiting to settle into your new Vital Home and the effect this has on any benefits you receive.

Recent government initiatives will provide a substantial reduction in deeming rates. They have also extended the asset test period for two years for pensioners who sell their homes to “Right-size” and unlock equity for a new, manageable home.

The Services Australia website (see link below) has details about your assets before you pay for a new home. If you want more information, we advise talking to a specialist financial advisor or contacting Services Australia directly to discuss your situation.
