PORTFOLIO 28
These images represent a series of engineering simulations I performed on a component, likely for stress testing and design validation purposes. The first image shows a color-coded displacement analysis with a legend indicating the displacement scale in millimeters. The second one depicts the application of structural loads, with arrows indicating the direction and magnitude of forces applied. The third image presents a safety factor analysis, color-graded to show areas of varying safety margins with associated minimum and maximum values.

ALZHEIMER AID
The images show a device designed to track leg movements, specifically intended for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, for the purpose of monitoring and potentially improving their mobility and safety.
06 DESIGN ENGINEERING PORTFOLIO 30
The image features a comparative biomechanical analysis, contrasting weighted and unweighted leg raises. It includes side-by-side photographs of an individual performing a leg raise with and without weights, highlighting the difference in leg elevation. Accompanying the images are multi-colored line graphs that track the movement dynamics across different axes, with annotations discussing the impact of weight on the leg’s motion and joint stress.
Varun Gupta 31
The image is a biomechanical analysis showing a sequence of leg exercises with corresponding motion data. It includes photographs demonstrating various stages of leg movement and annotated line graphs depicting changes in joint angles over time. The analysis is titled “Data (Without Weight),” indicating the absence of additional load during the exercise.
06 DESIGN ENGINEERING PORTFOLIO 32
This is a user interface mockup for my biomechanical tracking software, featuring a leg with a wearable device and a “Statistics” graph detailing yaw and pitch movements. I’ve pinpointed areas for improvement, such as enhancing stability during leg movements, maintaining a steady back during flexion, and recommending a brief hold after each leg raise. This design represents my focus on optimizing body movement through precise tracking and analysis.

UI/UX WIREFRAMING
This part of my portfolio showcases my expertise in UI/UX wireframing, demonstrating my ability to create detailed and intuitive interfaces for digital products. Through a collection of medium-fidelity wireframes, I present visual blueprints that articulate the layout, functionality, and user flow of various applications.
A UX blueprint refers to a specific techn que or method used n UX design, particularly in the early stages of a project. B ueprinting involves creating v sual representations, diagrams, or f owcharts to map out user flows, task f ows, or the overal structure of the user nterface It helps designers and stakeholders gain a clearer understand ng of the intended user journey

This UX blueprint for a student-focused app, emphasizing user flows and the overall structure of the user interface. The blueprint showcases the frontstage elements—such as the app itself and teacher interactions—as well as backstage actions, lines of visibility, internal interactions, and support processes. This visual representation helps in understanding the user journey, highlighting key actions, decision points, and possible branching paths, essential for optimizing the user experience in educational environments.
