Kanger have released a wide range of different kits recently, with options to suit many vapers.

The most recent, at the time or writing, is the the Kanger Topbox Mini Kit, which features the new top filling Kanger Toptank, some brand new and upgraded OCC coils for the Toptank, and the new Kanger Kbox Mini TC 75w.

You have a magnetic battery door cover and the Kbox Mini 75w TC takes a single 18650 battery, which you will need to purchase separately.

The newest K-Box mod included with the topbox starter kit also includes an option for temperature control. What temperature control does is automatically adjusts the wattage as you vape to maintain your set temperature. This helps maintain your coils as the unit will not allow the coil to overheat and burn while you are in temperature control mode. We are glad to see this option included as it is becoming standard with most vapes and greatly improves vapor quality.

This TopTank Mini is merely an improved upon version, offering a new top fill design, it still has dual adjustable airflow control, and you also get a 4mL e-liquid capacity, which is plenty enough with this supposed miniature design.

Now, this tank comes with some nice coils that do perform well, but I’m stuck on Kanger older OCC 0.5Ω vertical coils that have yet to fail me since they were released. I’m a huge fan of this tank and I’ll recommend it to anyone.

Easy to use The mod still features the same 3 button design as the original Subox with only a few extra clicks to access the needed menus. To turn the device on click the fire button 5 times quickly, to set your wattage or temperature use the + and – buttons at the bottom of the unit. To change to temperature mode press the fire button 3 times to cycle through the options.

In conclusion So, I really think that although this is a neat starter kit, the Kbox itself it nothing to shout about. If you already have a mod that does temp control, you may want to consider getting just the Toptank.
