Design Brief- The design concept revolves around the creation of a modern typology building which can be a muti-functional space that serves as a cultural hub or research centre or a public gathering space but the design shall draw inspiration from a specfic historical period.
The design revolves around the central space as the focus and continues along a swimming pool- defining the axis of the complex, splitting the building following the beaux arts principle of symmetry. Beaux-Arts architecture style is based on the symmetry and proportions of Roman and Greek classicism combined with French and Italian Renaissance and Baroque influences. An eclectic mix of elaborate decorative Italian and French Renaissance elements. Distinct Beaux Arts features include Corinthian columns, statues, glass domes.
