EDUCATION & SKILL DEVELOPMENT
EDUCATION SUPPORT
The Support Access to Education project aims to target the Northern & Eastern Province and Upcountry in Sri Lanka. Implemented by PSC, USDF and NewAROW, learning materials including school bags, exercise books and stationery are provided to students from low income families to improve academic development. Improvements to classrooms in addition to English language workshops supported by USD have benefited over 230 students and teachers.
TECHNOLOGY
Under the direct supervision of USDF, Vanni Hope has provided laptops to several students including special needs children to improve technical and educational literacy. Additional smart mobile phones, computers and printers have enhanced access to online studies and courses, improving the educational development of primary and secondary school students.
