Griffin Ballard & Luke Burrow

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced the names of the Semifinalists who will continue on in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. Over 1.3 million Juniors entered the competition for this year's scholarships, and that number has been whittled down to 16,000 elite students across the country. Semifinalists must not only show strong academic records, but they must also be endorsed by High School officials, complete an essay, demonstrate community and school leadership and service, and perform impressively on the ACT/SAT to continue through the competition, and we are very excited to announce that two of our very own Marlins have been included in that exclusive group of Semifinalists. Congratulations to Luke Burrow and Griffin Ballard! We are so very proud of you and wish you all the best as you continue striving toward the National Merit Scholarship prize.
