Examine your makeup stash by gathering everything and placing it on your table. You will see all the items at a glance, and even discover things you didn’t know you had!
After tossing frayed and thinning brushes, store the functional ones upright in a container or invest in a brush roll. Do clean your brushes once a week with warm water and shampoo. Treat them with TLC because these beauty tools help transform you from blah to beautiful!
2. Divide, filter and toss Divide your makeup into different categories e.g. eyes, lips, cheeks, face. You’ll get a sense of what you need to keep or toss for each category. Any item that’s broken or hasn’t been used in a year belongs in the trash. Old, expired or split makeup can host harmful bacteria.
4. Categorise, categorise, categorise! Organise your makeup into categories and keep them in a clear drawer organiser so you can find everything easily. Store your beauty treasures away from moisture or direct sunlight so they last longer.

This loose, tousled hairdo may look easy to replicate but it requires more effort than simply waking up with bed-head. Here’s a tip: tie your hair in braids the night before, untie them the next morning and spritz sea salt spray to the lower ends of your hair.
Intentionally tousled hair seems to be one of the biggest styles on the SS13 runway. 1. Structured Brows Brows with a structured shape will give balance to bold attention-grabbing lips. Use deft strokes with a light hand for a more natural look.
2. Bright Eyes Apply champagne-coloured shimmer eyeshadow or any light neutral shade all over your eyelids. Shimmery shades are best for brightening up the eye area. Tip: Avoid doing a smokey eye when you’ve already got a dramatic eyeliner, false lashes and bold red lips.
4. Kohl Drama Soften the line with a kohl pencil and blend with a fluffy brush!
5. Peachy Blush Pink may be too sweet for such a bold look. Choose a peachy blush and apply with a kabuki brush for a less intense colour on the cheeks.
3. Wing It You may need to experiment to find the right wing to suit your eye shape. We’ve chosen a long straight wing to lengthen and open up the eyes. Draw an even line close to the lash line.

This is our interpretation of a girl-next-door look – good girl meets flirty cheerleader (minus the drama). Trends Check List Twiggy Mod Eyeliner Teal Eyeshadow Bold Pink Lower Lash Line
1. The Eyes Have It Apply baby pink eyeshadow all over eyelids. Then add teal eyeshadow to your upper lash line. Build up the colour until you’ve got the desired thickness. If you have double eyelids, apply the colour up to your crease line. If you have single eyelids, add until the colour shows up.

2. A Splash of Hot Pink Line your entire lower lash line with a hot pink shade of eyeshadow. Keep close to your lower lash line.
4. Lengthening Lashes Sweep lengthening mascara in upward strokes to achieve longer lashes. Two coats is plenty! Don’t forget to apply mascara to your lower lashes too.
3. Mod-Inspired “Half Stroke” Line your eyes using a clean stroke as close to your lash line as possible. Then, connect another line half way across your upper eyelid. The line should “sit” atop your teal eyeshadow.
5. Plump Pink Lips Add a pink lip gloss to complete your sweet, approachable look! Tip: Concentrate on packing on the colour! Have some cotton buds on standby and use them to clean up any fallout and smudges later.
