SERVICE SUMMIT

Vanguard held our very first Service Summit with a 100% participation rate It was two days filled with fun, fellowship, and skill-building Among those present were special guests from VolvoMack, Kathy Vonfeldt, the Regional Connected Services Manager, and Perry Morris, the Dealer Uptime Development Manager; Kathy and Perry explained the advantages our Service Department will gain from Blue & Premium Contracts Larry Miller, the Senior Manager of Technical Training, also joined via Webex to expound on the D A T E program and go over the new platform for tech training The Service Summit was also fortunate to have internal presenters who shared invaluable insights, including Houston’s Regional Service Manager Daniel McCants, who went over internal Tech Training, and Recruiting Director Layce Cason, who gave a comprehensive overview of her recruiting strategies to attract more technicians through our Fast Track Program. Overall, the Service Summit was a tremendous success, and we are eagerly looking forward to the next one!

The first Vanguard Truck Leasing Annual Meeting convened by Jim Smith, President of Leasing, was a momentous occasion held at Vanguard Truck

Centers Houston The event brought together the leasing management and sales team including sales reps, managers, rental managers, and service managers The meeting served as a platform for reflection, sharing their vision for the future, and planning

They conducted a comprehensive review of the previous year's business, highlighting successes and

areas for improvement This retrospective analysis

paved the way for strategic discussions on plans and objectives for the upcoming year

In attendance was Joe Gallick, Senior Vice President of Sales for NationaLease shared insights into the benefits of their organization and the value of their

partnerships with leasing companies nationwide

Johnny started with Vanguard in 2015 and is leaving an indelible mark on our organization. Johnny’s plan after retirement is to go to Aruba for a month and then travel around the country in a camper. We’re excited to announce that Chances Zayas has been promoted to AR Supervisor. Chances has been a part of the AR department with Vanguard for almost 2 years During this time, she has played an important role in implementing and documenting AR processes, learning operation processes to better understand the impact and flow to receivables, and creating a standard/benchmark on the meaning of “clean” receivable schedules She will continue to support the Georgia, Phoenix, and St Louis regions, while also taking on other responsibilities We are confident that her depth of knowledge, patience, and determination will not only take her far, but it will also be very beneficial to the department. EMMY AWARD WINNER

Hwy 90 New Truck Sales rep Dan Balda's daughter Jess Anderson recently won an Emmy for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series - 2023 as a producer for the Netflix series Beef. It was a phenomenal series, and we have our fingers crossed there will be a part 2. Congratulations Jess! We couldn’t be happier for you and your proud Papa.

TWO WHEELS, ONE ENGINE, NO LIMITS

Congratulations to John Kean of VTC Flagstaff on placing first in the AMRA Arizona Off-Road State Championship race series This Annual State Championship consists of some of the best-off road racers in Arizona and surrounding states It is made up of 10-12 races per year and three different styles of endurance racing including Grand Prix, Enduro, and Hare scrambles Each race is between 1 5 hours to 2 5 hours long In 2023, one of the races was 100 miles long, and John was on his dirt bike for almost 8 hours He has also participated in races in the snow and races with temperatures over 100 degrees Keep pursuing your passion John and sharing these stunning photos with us!

The Dealer Services team received a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny, who left a delightful trail of goodies throughout the office The team took a well-deserved break from their busy day to partake in the Easter egg hunt. ATL PICKLE BALL CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to Lequint Caswell, AP Specialist, and Aaron Allen Controller, on being ATL region Pickleball Tournament winners! In a display of skill, determination, and sportsmanship, these talented individuals showed out on the court The Tournament ran from February 2nd, 2024, to March 11th, 2024.
