ARABEL LAUNCHES PRINCESS AISHA 2016 TURBAN COLLECTION By Jemi Ekunkunbor Arabel, the leading Islamic store in Nigeria , has launched its 2016 turban collections into the Nigerian market. Tagged, Princess Aisha 2016 Turban Collection, the new line was formerly launched last weekend, in Lagos at a fashion show which took place at the Westwoood Hotel in Ikoyi. Boss of Arabel, Mrs. Shareefah Abiola Andu, said the new line is designed specifically to aid women who want to cover their hair according to Islamic injections but still look stylish. Models filed out in well crafted turbans made from high grade velvet embellished with sparkly swarovski and Asfourelle Crystals, broaches and rhinestone sliders. The first collection tagged Velvet Cleopatra, made from velvet, is classy, versatile and dressy. Second Collection, the Silk Velvet Cleopatra, is designed from a dynamic blend of silk and velvet suited for formal occasions and corporate events. The third collection Brunei , is easy to wear and can be accessorised with a broach for an office look.The fourth collection drew a lot of excitement from guests because of its blingy nature. Created for an empress look, the turbans in this collection are spiced with swarovski crystals that give the Royal Brunei Empress look. The HC Velvet collection with movable rhinestone slider, gives the wearer the freedom to make an impact by choosing what direction to place the slider. The Muneez collection pays tribute to Mrs Andu’s only niece and daughter of ace broadcaster, Modele Sarafa-Yusuf. The VBOW collection was the delight of the young people for its sassy, youthful and vibrant look. The show closed with the bridal collection. Mrs. Andu also took time out to have a practical demonstration of the different stylish ways to wrap and wear the turban. The show was watched by Deputy Governor of Lagos State , Mrs. Oluranti Adebule, wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, immediate past First Lady of Lagos State, Mrs Abimbola Fashola, Hon. Funmi Tejuosho, Mrs. Ladun Ogunbanwo and a host of eminent Lagosians.
